Stayed here this past August during peak summer season and stayed cool inside the entire facility. I loved this location so much that I stayed at the location in Kyoto too. Both had very welcoming staff.Restrooms, showers and pod areas were all immaculate, which is a huge bonus for me since most hostels are notoriously known for being dirty. There are various toiletries provided at the front desk area free of charge, which is nice for a hostel and… beer hour was a great time to drink free beers, meet new people and hang out in the lounge to eat my tuna mayo onigiri and fruit sando!

Are you a solo traveler from another county? Stay here. Straight up. Don’t waste your money anywhere else. This place was so accommodating and friendly, I canceled a different hotel and stayed here an extra night. The beds are large when compared to other capsule style hotels, the location is phenomenal, and the price is unbeatable. They also do breakfast for ¥1000, and everyone who stays at least one night gets a free drink

the lockbox cannot even fit a MacBook Air, so annoying. The ac is too aggressive. Kind of disappointing as this is like BASIC NEED.

I like this place. My only complaint is the temperature of the floors where the rooms are at. It’s just too hot… yes there’s a fan for each bed area, but it isn’t enough to stay cool. I had to sleep without any covers and still woke up in sweat.I hope the staff will please consider lowering the air conditioning especially during these summer months.Other than this, fantastic place to stay and the social environment is nice.Thank you!

My favorite hostel stay in Japan. The place is secure and in a fantastic location, about a 8-10 minute walk to shibuya station, with a lot of great food and shopping right around the corner. As advertised, they have updated rooms with a lot of quality of life additions that are very welcome. Being able to change the position of your bed, and especially the huge storage under your own bed, is fantastic.Free beer social hour every night is fun, and I met some great people and made friends because of it.Also, it has plenty to of space to work, if you (sadly) need to.It's definitely a bit pricier than other hostels, but it's worth every penny, in my opinion. Highly recommend. I also got a free taxi from the airport to the hostel for booking 5 nights - I am unsure if that was a hostel offer or a booking.com offer, but it was much appreciated, as it was my introduction to Japan (not immediately being thrown into figuring out the train system while having luggage was nice).

Perfect location - walkable to most of the iconic spots in shibuya/harajuku!Room is just big enough without feeling “encapsulated” lol, & staff is friendly (please note, your check in luggage may not fit under the bed so ask them for dimensions. Otherwise, your suitcase will have to stay at the foot of your bed if you don’t wanna store it downstairs).A big perk is meeting people from all over the world! I’m a little more introverted but I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try something new - which turned out to be an amazing experience staying at The Millenials!Only reason I’m giving my review 4 stars is because you could potentially get stuck next to neighbors who think you’re “too loud” during NON-QUIET hours. Please know you’re staying at a capsule hotel and noise is inevitable. Such a sour note to end my stay but overall, love that I made new friends along the way 😄

Great stay! The bed was extraordinary comfortable and i slept very well. The staff was very nice and the common area was fun to hang out and chat with other people, especially during happy hour.We stayed for 3 nights and moved to another hostel in Tokyo after that, but after 1 night we debated going back to this one because it was so much better in every aspect.Would come again, thanks for everything!
