The food and the hospitality of the hostess were friendly and good.The building was old and the cleanliness was a bit disappointing, but the hot springs were also good, so overall it was highly rated.

It seems to be run by an elderly couple. The food seemed to be well-received, but personally, I don't think it would be suitable for younger people as it was all about fish dishes.There is a sense of humanity.

It was my first time visiting. Although there were 3 guests staying at the hotel, they did not show up at the reception desk. I was asked to show my national vaccination certificate and ID, and when I asked for a moment, I was told that I would not be able to stay unless I did so. Under the Travel Act, accommodation cannot be refused unless there is a special reason. There was an explanation that each group would be allowed to take a bath, but there were no other restrictions. Is the food really good? . ? ? ? There's no Wi-Fi, so this might be an inn for regulars. Comes with a yukata and hot spring towel, but no bath towel. Unlike the reviews, the old lady was also unfriendly. For consecutive nights, there is no yukata or hot spring towel. Of course there was no cleaning. That being said, I am not a regular customer, so I gave one star. I find it strange that there are more than 4 stars.

The food was delicious. It also comes with a sake comparison set, which is especially good for people who like alcohol! The baths are shared by the whole family, so you don't have to worry about other people.

#2022/11/17I stayed on a Saturday.I ate in my room, so I hardly ever met other guests, but considering the number of rooms and the number of cars in the parking lot, it was probably full.Access to Furuyu Onsen is about 50 minutes by bus from the Saga Station bus center.There's about one train per hour, so I don't think it's that inconvenient.The inn is close to the bus stop, and the entrance and parking lot face the main street. There is also a small supermarket called A Co-op nearby, so you won't have any trouble doing some shopping.On the other hand, there is no view from the room because it is not on the riverside, in a high place, or in a tall building.Perhaps because the bathhouse was directly below the room I was shown to, I could hear the sound of the hot spring water being poured. This was a good atmosphere.The only things the room doesn't have are a safe, refrigerator, and bath towels.Baths, toilets, and washrooms are shared.I don't mind a safe because the room is locked, but if you don't have a refrigerator, you won't be able to cool down the alcohol you bought after your meal.There are no vending machines at the inn.Wi-Fi worked without interruption.The bathhouse is just down the stairs after entering the entrance.Bathing hours are as early as 10pm and from 7am in the morning.It is a private rental system that does not require reservations, and you can enter if the sign at the entrance says ``vacant''. When you enter, set it to "bathing". Set it back to "Empty" when you leave.There are times when you're in conflict with other people (someone is already taking a bath when you want to take a bath), but since there aren't that many guests, I don't think it's a big problem.Regarding the water temperature, the first time I took a bath in the evening, it was just the right temperature. However, the second time I went in around 9pm, it was a bit cold. The bath the next morning was warm.There are two washing areas, and the bathtub is about 3 to 4 times the size of a normal home.Meals are served in your room for breakfast and dinner.When you finish eating, call the front desk and they will come and clean up.For dinner, the rice was well-seasoned, and everything was delicious.When I told them that I would be taking the bus before 8am, they prepared breakfast early (before 7am) so that I could take a hot spring bath before getting on the bus.There are many wonderful elements such as the atmosphere, food, and hot springs, but the most important thing is the very kind landlady. I've only spoken to her husband once over the phone, but he seems like a soft-spoken person.

As this was my first experience at a minshuku, I was a little worried at first as there was no refrigerator in the room and only one face towel, but as the reviews said, the food was delicious and the hostess was friendly. The room meal was more luxurious and delicious than I expected, and it was a reasonable meal that would cost around 20,000 to 30,000 yen at a ryokan.Since we had small children with us, it was helpful to have room meals in a Japanese-style room, and we were able to relax in the private hot spring bath.The next morning, the typhoon was approaching, but I was told to take it easy until the rain and wind subsided, and for lunch I was given bread that had been prepared for emergency consumption.This was a great help as we were unable to find any hotels in Saga City or surrounding municipalities. thank you very much.

This is the only guest house in a small, rural, grandma-like old hot spring.Although the building is old, it is well-maintained and has a fairly clean feel.The rooms are equipped with TV, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. There are no refrigerators or safes.Washrooms and toilets are shared, but since it's a small inn, it doesn't get crowded and you don't feel any inconvenience.There are two indoor hot spring baths, separated by gender, but both are currently available for private use.The bathtub looked like a larger version of a home-use enamel bath and was bland, but the water was flowing with lukewarm water and the quality of the spring water was good, so it felt good.Both breakfast and dinner were served in the room, and although the seasoning was a bit strong, the portions were large and delicious.There was no contact with other people during the hot springs and meals, and the hostess' customer service was minimal, making it a comfortable and relaxing stay.This is a reasonable accommodation perfect for the times of the coronavirus pandemic.It was also nice to be able to use PayPay.
