I used it as a lodging for sightseeing in Nara. While searching for various inns in the Nara area, I initially thought I would stay at the Nara Hotel, which is a purveyor to the imperial family, but although it has historical dignity, there was no public bath inside and the rooms were just like an ordinary hotel. So I made a reservation at Mikasa, which is located halfway up Mt. Wakakusa. Since I stayed on a Friday, I was lucky to get a maisonette room with an open-air bath at a good price. The inn is located on the Wakakusa Mountain Driveway, which requires a fee, but if you tell them at the toll booth that you are staying in Mikasa, they will let you go straight through, and you can get a free return ticket at the hotel front desk, which is a good deal. I wanted to see the sunset from Mt. Wakakusa, so before checking in, I passed by the hotel and watched the beautiful sunset from the top of Mt. Wakakusa before checking in. The hotel building seemed a little dated, but it had been beautifully renovated and everything was clean and tidy. When you enter the lobby, you can see the entire city of Nara, including Todaiji Temple, from the lounge, and at night you can see the night view. The guest room I stayed in in the Wind Building had just been renovated, so it was new, very clean, and spacious.I stay in a room with an open-air bath about five times a year, and it was one of the top-class rooms with a high level of satisfaction. There were large toilets on the first and second floors, an indoor bath on the second floor, and an open-air bath on the first floor that was so big that you couldn't even stretch your legs.It was a luxurious room that was more than enough for two people. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private room with a sunken kotatsu structure in the dining hall, overlooking the well-kept courtyard and enjoying delicious, colorful seasonal dishes. On my way to dinner and the public bath, I met some employees who were doing cleaning work, and they all stopped to greet me and wait for me to pass, so I felt sorry for them. All employees are polite and you will have a pleasant time. If I ever stay in Nara again, I plan to stay here again. This is the best hotel to maintain your tired body and mind.

I stayed in a corner room in the moon building.I don't mind that it's an old building, but it doesn't feel clean. It just felt outdated.I tried to open the window to freshen the air, but it got stuck and wouldn't open, it was difficult to open and close the closet, and there was a lot of rattling in various places. If you sit on the wide veranda, you can enjoy the wonderful view. However, I can't help but notice the garbage that keeps accumulating in the drains on the balconies and the extremely sloppy paint on the handrails, probably done by employees, and it ruins the view.Customer perspective is important.Perhaps that feeling no longer exists.I had high expectations since it's part of the Miyako Hotel chain, but I'm disappointed. When I answered the questionnaire and delivered it to the front desk, it said that I would receive a small gift, so I gave it to them on the way home. But I didn't get a free gift lol

I searched for various accommodations and finally ended up staying here.It was very good! I stayed in a room with two baths. I thought the breakfast would be simple since it included breakfast and dinner, but I was full from the morning with everything from grilled fish to several rice dishes and boiled tofu. The employees and everyone at the front desk were kind, and they listened to our requests during meals and talked to us in a friendly manner, making us glad we stayed here.If I had to say something negative, the staff at the shop (souvenir shop) was silent the entire time, and I thought it would be okay if they at least said, ``Welcome to you.'' Also, the Wi-Fi didn't connect at all. .If I have a chance, I would like to stay here again. It was raining on the way back, but thank you very much for your hospitality and for making sure I didn't get wet.

The waiter in charge of serving the food was not very responsive, so I couldn't enjoy my meal comfortably.Hospitality is low despite the high price.
