On sunny weekends, the parking lot will be full. You can enjoy the feeling of camping at the top of the slope behind the water hole.Facilities are minimal, but the view is good, and it is a campsite that everyone from solo travelers to families can enjoy.

It was difficult to find the reception area, it was on the second floor of the gymnasium down the mountain, and the price was the best.

I came from the prefectural road 363 side on the east side of the campsite, and had to go down to the abandoned school on the west side for reception. Usage fee: 260 yen per personThere are three main camping sites, but vehicles are not allowed inside the site. It's too tiring to carry my luggage to the back site, so I end up having to use the two sites in the front. The double cherry blossom tree next to the toilet was in full bloom, so I camped there.I think it would be a good idea to allow vehicles to enter only when loading luggage, since there is a conductor. There are many campgrounds that do that...Also, there is a pavilion on the west side where you can see the sunset, and you can't camp there, but no matter how you think about it, I really wish it would be possible to camp there as well. The way the sun set was so beautiful. There was only one kitchen and one toilet, and they were both about 50 meters away, which was very inconvenient. But all in all, it was a great campsite. The sunset over Sakata is a great memory.
