The first time I stayed at Obana Hotel was nearly 10 years ago when it had its old name. Since then, I have stayed with my family about three times, and the customer service has always been attentive and cheerful. It's not a brand new hotel, but the design and texture of the rooms have a classic feel, which makes me feel safe, which I like.I always look forward to the buffet breakfast and Asuka hotpot, both typical of Nara. With this quality, I'm wondering if this accommodation fee is worth it.What I noticed after staying here for the first time in a while was that there were movie screenings, magazines about Nara, catalogs of exhibitions, and even comics, so you could really feel the culture! I think staying at Hotel Obana is a great way to explore the history and culture of Nara. The number of overseas tourists has increased, and although it has become lively, it may be difficult to cope with the situation. I would like to use this service again when traveling to Nara. I hope that the hotel's lights will continue for a long time.

About 15 minutes walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. It was very close to Nara Park. It said that depending on the room, you could see the five-storied pagoda, but the pagoda was under renovation lol.For dinner, there was a shopping street nearby, and there were many restaurants such as Chinese food, beef cutlet, sushi, and udon noodles. The breakfast buffet has many options and is very tasty and satisfying.

It's close to Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Todaiji Temple, so if you get tired of walking, you can go back to the hotel and then go out. The Japanese breakfast is delicious. The room is a little small. I think it's good for older people like me. However, I would like to have the heated toilet seat repaired.

About 5 minutes walk from Kencho-mae bus stop. It's also close to Sarusawa Pond, making it a great place to go for an evening stroll. If you choose breakfast, you can enjoy Japanese cuisine rich in Nara ingredients. The front desk staff are kind and there is a wide variety of welcome drinks. I'm satisfied with the clean room, spacious bed, and spacious room.

I have used it several times. The middle-aged woman at the front desk seems to be in a good mood and sometimes in a bad mood, and it's scary how she treats me like a different person at different times.I saw them treating the staff with a cold attitude, so I guess it must be difficult for the people inside...It's no good to be influenced by your mood.If you can put up with that, the location is good and although it's old, it feels clean, so I like this hotel...

When I checked in, I was told that the museum would be closed tomorrow, so I would like to check out at 10 o'clock, and since it was a closed day, I would not be able to store my luggage. The next day, I returned home without doing any sightseeing as I couldn't walk with my luggage in the heat. If it's closed the next day, don't make a reservation. The worst hotel with no sincerity at all, the rating is less than ⭐.

To be honest, the rooms are an old hotel...but the location is great! All of the front desk staff were kind and polite and greeted us with smiles. Immediately after arriving, the lady at the front desk casually served me a cold oshibori, which felt great! There was a pond near the hotel, and there was a Starbucks on the shore, so it was quite beautiful at night!I would like to stay here again when I go to Nara. I had some great memories, thank you very much!
