I stopped by Genghis Khan Lodge for dinner when I was on a trip to Yamagata to pick cherries. The store was large, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The meat had a very low odor, almost unnoticeable, and was tender, sweet, and very delicious. When I grilled the vegetables that came with the meat, the oil from the mutton soaked up the flavor and was delicious. The vegetables seemed very fresh.I'm very satisfied.

Zao Onsen ski resort is right in front of you. Great location. I was able to walk directly to the gondola and lift. And the home-raised Genghis Khan was very delicious.

This accommodation is suitable for ski trips solo, for two people, or for groups. First of all, breakfast is delicious, so be sure to eat it and do your best to ski. We also provide discount coupons for best ski shops. Staff service is top notch. The distance from the bus stop is 15 minutes. It takes 7 to 8 minutes to get to the free hot springs and 18 minutes to the convenience store. However, there was no major inconvenience and the advantage is that you can ski right in front. The scenery is also very nice. The toilet, public washroom, and shower room are all good. It's so nice to have warm water in the bathtub in the evening. Especially since the first floor is a restaurant, it is convenient to eat delicious lamb. The downside is that there is no refrigerator in the room and no laundry facilities. I washed my laundry by hand and dried it in my room. I put drinks near the window and used it like a refrigerator. There is a shared refrigerator on the first floor. That was enough. Cool water and hot tea are always available. There is a ski drying/storage room in the basement. There are also stairs leading directly down to the outdoors. There is also a ski rack outdoors. It is a comfortable accommodation that is beautiful and warms your heart even when you think about it again.

I came here because I heard that I could eat Genghis Khan. The sauce had a strong miso flavor and was innovative.

This was my second time using this restaurant for lunch.Last time when I came to Zao for sightseeing in the spring, I went to a restaurant where I could eat Genghis Khan.It was very delicious, and my son who was 7 years old at the time also ate it, so I decided to look forward to it again this time. I decided to use it as one of the options and came here for lunch while skiing.Last time, 3 people ate 2 servings of meat, but this time we added 2 more servings, and the 3 of us in the family had a delicious and filling meal. It's a little pricey, but I recommend it. The store staff was also kind and told me a lot of things when I listened to them!
