In short, it is a Showajima retro hotel. But the bathroom was new and had a washlet. Are desks and shelves second hand? The fabrics hung on the chairs and other objects have a checkered pattern, giving it a Showa-inspired feel. The staff was responsive and I felt more relaxed than a city hotel in the city. The coin laundry in the separate building has many washing machines and dryers, both of which cost 100 yen. Accommodation costs are also low, so there may be many long-term stays related to construction work. However, I was a little concerned about the smell. Especially on rainy days.If you go straight down the path on the east side of Minami-Nagai Station, you will be close to the hotel.

I would like the light bulbs in the bathroom to stay on longer. Lights up for only 30 seconds. They move around trying to turn on the lights while taking a bath, go to the bathroom, turn off the lights when they sit still, and turn on and off repeatedly when brushing their teeth. 30 seconds is not enough time to clean up the kernel. If you cannot increase it, please delete it.

There's a reason why it's expensive, and there's a reason why it's cheap, and it matches the price. Good luck to the owner✊

I've used it several times when I was on business in Yamagata, and I'm glad that the price is lower than other hotels in the area. The room itself is a decent size for a business hotel, and the bath and toilet are clean. The outlet capacity seems to be low, but if you're careful, it won't be a problem. The refrigerator is shared in the hallway, but I haven't had any problems so far. Other reviews mentioned the smell, but I've stayed several times and never noticed it. Meals can be eaten in your room or in the dining room in a separate building, and although I have never used it myself, it seems that if you ask for breakfast, etc., they will provide you with food. The vending machine doesn't sell alcohol, but drinks are cheaper than convenience stores or other vending machines, so I was able to buy a lot and take it to work in the summer. There is a railroad crossing nearby, but there are no trains running from night to morning, so you don't have to worry about the alarm sound. It's convenient because there are supermarkets and convenience stores within walking distance.

I think it's worth the price if you're staying without meals. I think it would be better to buy rice at a nearby supermarket.

I think it's enough if you use it as a business hotel. I bought my meals at a nearby supermarket based on the advice of a friend who had used the service before. Are you a little worried about the smell from the pipes? The coin laundry is cheap, with a washing machine of 100 yen and a dryer of 100 yen, which I appreciate. The cost performance is also good, so I will use it again.

As others have said, I'm concerned about the smell in the room, probably from sewage. Turning on the ventilation fan in your room may be drawing out the smell of sewage. Why not force the ventilation fan in your room to supply air and keep the bathroom ventilation fan running all the time?
