The facility is old, but I use it every time for the low price of 300 yen (it seems that the bathing fee will increase to 400 yen from April 2021). Additionally, you can use the family bath if it is available, which is very convenient. Please note that there are no lockers for valuables.

I used it for a day trip bath. When I entered the entrance, there was no one there, so I was a little nervous. A person from the inn came out right away and showed us around 👍The bath was spacious and clean. Onogawa Onsen has many old-fashioned baths, but this one is beautiful. However, there are only two shower bars, so some people may not be able to wash their bodies and end up soaking in the bathtub.Thank you for the beautiful bath and beauty bath👏

Onogawa Onsen is famous for its public bath, Amayu, but you can also stop by and take a bath at most of the inns. This place in particular retains the atmosphere of an old hot spring inn, so it is recommended for retro lovers.

This is my fourth stay at Onogawa Onsen, which I love.I thought I would try staying at a different hotel this time. After doing some research, there are quite a few hotels here.It looked reasonable and good, so I made a reservation over the phone.(The deciding factor was Ito M's review. I stayed for several nights because I wanted to laze around.)This is Mr. Nikaido, it was very nice (^_^)Although the building is quite old, it is well-maintained and the toilets are clean. No problem at all.The bath is a little hot, just the way I like it.(Onogawa Onsen has a high source temperature)It smells like real sulfur and it feels good. The room didn't have chairs or tables (some rooms did), but it was spacious. There was also a refrigerator and a wash basin, so I was able to stay home for two days.Considering the accommodation fee of just over 8,000 yen, the meals were good both in the morning and in the evening.Especially for dinnerSurprising peach tree Konoki Nannoki's room meal (I'm already so happy)I'm glad they took the trouble to take me to the second floor even though the accommodation fee was cheap. It seems that the husband and wife are managing the business. The landlady is bright and seems like a hard worker. The husband didn't talk much, but he had a sincere personality. It was a wonderful inn that warmly welcomed even solo guests.Hmm, 8250 yen per night including tax.It was a wonderful stay even if I remember it now.I have to tell Yakishima-san (lol)【important point】・The toilet on the second floor is separated from the women's toilet next door by a single board. There is also a gap at the top and bottom. There's a strange voice when there's a woman next to me.Try not to make any unpleasant noises.(Especially sound effect when having abdominal pain)・Since the refrigerator does not have a freezing space, do not use ice packs, etc.You can use the large refrigerator in the self-catering corner.(You can also cook your own meals at this inn.)・As a general rule, you should bring your own bath towel (though they seemed like they would lend it to you if you asked).Towels and towels are provided.・There is no key in the room. You can hang it from the inside, but you can't hang it from the outside. If you are a worrier, try not to worry about leaving valuables in your room.(I left all the travel expenses as normal (^_^;)If you want to stay in a nice hotel with low accommodation costs, this is the place for you. Also recommended for smokers.

It's a very quaint inn.I feel like Onogawa Onsen would still be more vibrant if it had a unified streetscape like Ginzan Onsen and Hijiori Onsen. In particular, I would like to see unique maintenance methods for areas such as the path behind the inn and the area around the old Komachi footbath. Fireflies and day trip ski kids from Yonezawa are not enough to attract many tourists year-round.

I wanted to stay near Yonezawa, and when I searched for nearby hot spring inns that were displayed on hotel reservation sites, the accommodation costs ranged from 10,000 yen to 20,000 yen.I wanted to keep my accommodation costs down, so I chose this ryokan that was not displayed on the reservation site. When I asked about the price over the phone, it was very cheap at 8,500 yen (Saturday night) including 1 night and 2 meals. I visited without any expectations regarding the room or meals, but there were no problems at all. I had a room with ivy above the entrance covering the window, and the morning sun shining through the ivy in the morning was very nice. I highly recommend requesting this room when making a reservation. Dinner was served in the room next door, and a futon was laid out between us. (Since the price was cheap, I thought I would have to lay out my own bed, but the futon had been put away during breakfast.) Dinner consisted mainly of sweet carp, carp sashimi, and beef sukiyaki, as well as a variety of other dishes. It was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious. The bath was clean and bright, and the hot spring water was so comfortable that I ended up taking it three times. . . The facilities are old and pale in comparison to newer inns, but I was able to experience an old-fashioned hot spring inn that was very relaxing. I didn't hear about how the inn is run by the husband and his wife, but I imagine it must be a lot of trouble, but I hope they will continue to maintain the inn as it is forever. I would like to stay with you again when I come to Yonezawa area. On the way home, they came to see me off outside the hotel and I felt very welcomed.
