There are probably many better inns than this one, but I don't think there are many that are better in terms of cost performance. First of all, the food is very satisfying. Paired with sake, I was completely satisfied. Not to mention the hot springs. The unique mineral color and flavor are the best. The private bath was a luxurious time. It's good that the spring quality is different from Uenoyu (although I was a little disappointed with Uenoyu). The only complaint I have is that the transportation is not convenient. The public bus was small, so it was packed with locals and tourists, and some people had to wait for two hours. It might be a good idea to improve the transportation system throughout Hijiori Onsen (although it may be difficult to make a profit, it might be possible to flexibly increase the number of buses based on data from customers planning to stay).

I used it for a petit hot spring treatment. The baths at the inn are also good, and there is a Kaminoyu (a unique spring quality that cools you down and removes heat) nearby. The scenery of the souvenir hote manju and karinto manju and the morning market, which is open from 5:00 a.m., is calming. The food at the inn is delicious, the quantity is perfect, and the cost performance is good. The private bath at the inn was also very warm with the hot water coming from the cypress source.

Apparently there was a power outage due to heavy rain the day before. The road was also closed due to landslides in many places, so we were unable to reach the inn using the navigation route. I felt as though I had somehow made it while looking at the muddy Mogami River. Although the inn is an older building (reinforced concrete), the inside was clean and the staff were very courteous. It was a place where traces of a hot spring town remained. Although it is a hot spring, the water is of very high quality and the hot spring water is poured into the bathtub. The water is slightly cloudy and has a slight iron scent. I scooped up some water from the source and tried it, but there was almost no taste. The spring quality is sodium chloride and hydrogen carbonate spring, and the hydrogen ion concentration is 6.6ph. The water temperature in the bathtub is a little hot at 45℃. The feeling of soaking into your skin when you soak in the hot water is the best. It feels like my skin is being regenerated. There are public baths (Uenoyu) next to several inns that guests can use for 100 yen. This seems to be the original source of Hijiori Onsen. The building is like a shack and there are no washing areas or showers inside. Although the facility cannot be called clean, the hot springs were nice. There were a few elderly locals there.Meals will be served in a separate private room. Very delicious food was served, centered around the fruits of the mountains. I was happy with the mountain country menu.Although it is 450 kilometers away from Tokyo and difficult to reach by car, it is a hot spring resort that I would like to visit again.

The rooms are beautiful and the food is so luxurious that you won't be able to finish it all!Eating in a semi-private roomFriendly to children! ! The price is low...! I want to go again! The hot springs are fed directly from the source and are of the highest quality!Unfortunately, the water was so hot that I couldn't use it much, and the private bath was out of order so I couldn't use it!I made a reservation at Jalan, but the 2000 yen coupon and points were not discounted...I noticed it later when I looked back at the receipt...I'm disappointed in that, so 4 stars ❗️↓↓↓After that, I was kindly given a refund.I'll return it to 5 stars.

It's a very beautiful inn. The indoor bath is small, but there is a private bath made of cypress wood. The food, including wild vegetable dishes, is also delicious. The staff's response was excellent and I was able to use the hotel comfortably.
