I had an opportunity to get together with my family, so I visited. I've been to Onogawa Onsen several times, but this is my first time at a ryokan. …

This is an inn with the largest altar in the area for Onogawa Komachi-chan, a hot spring daughter. They also have an interesting selection of goods such as rakugo designs. It seems like there are quite a few sold out.As the signboard says, it is wheelchair accessible and is a barrier-free inn, so it is an inn that will give you suggestions on how to enjoy the hot springs.

Anyway, there were so many flies in the room that it was disgusting. Also, the owner's response was so bad that I don't want to stay there again.People at other hotels were able to greet me and I felt they had a good attitude, so I didn't think I would come again.

It feels very nice to have a hot spring for day trips. It's only a short time from 3pm to 6pm, but it's helpful. It's very pleasant and the stalls have cold water and hot water, so it's very nice.

The inside of the hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The indoor bath is large, and the outdoor bath can accommodate two people. It would be nice to have chairs and hammocks for cooling off the water. There is also a beautiful sauna. There are facilities for wheelchairs everywhere (even the indoor bath mentioned above was equipped with a slope), and even though the inn is not that big, I felt that they took great care.

The inn is built with the concept of rakugo, and rakugo lovers will find it hilarious at key points. On the other hand, the accommodation is friendly to people with disabilities, and you can feel the kindness and strong will of the hosts. We recommend this inn for those who are particular fans or those who want to bring their elderly parents with them.

This is the place I found when I was looking for a wheelchair accessible inn.The reason why I chose this inn is becauseI want to take my father, who is unable to move freely due to a cerebral infarction, to his favorite baths and hot springs, and feed him delicious food. I chose it for that reason alone. In fact, once you arrive at your accommodation,Contrary to my expectations, I was impressed by the size of the dressing room and the size of the bath in the private bath. The hostess's attentiveness is wonderful. As soon as we arrived, my father said he wanted to take a hot spring bath. It's empty, so please come in slowly. That's what he said.My father seems happy.I had a cerebral infarction, and my physical freedom was almost ineffective. Before visiting this inn, my father said,I was taught how to take a bath at the cerebral infarction rehabilitation center I was attending, and I slowly entered the bath using those instructions.Even though it was a private bath, I thought it would be good for my father to enjoy it.Actually, it was my father who was able to take a relaxing bath (lol)After taking a bath, I was informed that the meal was ready and was served my signature Yonezawa beef steak. You can also move to the dining area using a wheelchair.I think it was almost 3pm when I arrived at Yonezawa Station. The time when lunch is over.My father wants to eat Yonezawa beef.We kept talking in the rental car about wanting to eat quickly, and after taking a bath...My Yonezawa beef steak was also flattened. He looked satisfied. We also consulted about the dinner menu before visiting, and had it chopped into pieces. The consideration is wonderful. If it were a normal inn, things wouldn't go as planned, butThis inn is a bit different. As expected. After eating, I returned to my room,The bed was big and my father seemed to be able to sleep peacefully. The next day, after breakfast, I asked for another bath, and when I asked the landlady, she didn't show any reluctance. Please take advantage of it. That's what he said.Thank you for your help for 2 days. The landlady and all the employeesThank you very much for a wonderful trip that will remain in my heart.Although my father is not here now,I am overwhelmed with emotion to be able to spend my first trip here, just the two of us.There is a work of a clay cat on the front. On the Shinkansen on the way home,It seems like I finally understood the meaning of Suzu no Yado, and that cat Suzu was so cute.I've been talking about it for a long time.It was a strange journey, but it was fun.It was a memorable trip for me.I would like to visit you again next time.Thank you very much, Mrs.

As for the rating...it may be due to timing, but I gave it 3 stars because if I gave it 4 stars, I wouldn't be able to differentiate it from other hotels.Good point① The food is delicious. The menu is the same as other hotels, but I was surprised at how delicious it was.②The room is clean, and outside there are inns and stores that close at 8:00pm, so it's quiet.③The bath is open-air and there is a sauna, and the sauna has a seat board (heat-resistant sheet) and a place to put your glasses. This is a nice consideration for me, who is worried about my glasses getting damaged when I sit after other people's raw butts.Points of concern① There are no additional menu items with the meal, which is difficult for me who would like to drink more alcohol.② Is the air conditioner in the room being renovated? The outdoor temperature without air conditioning was 27°C.③A lot of Asian foreigners come to good inns, and when they take a bath, they jump right into the bath without any ``kakeyu'', and even in the sauna, they sit on the hottest upper tier and do their best like it's an endurance contest. I go in and rest for a long time, sleep on the bed, and take a long, narrow open-air bath. It's okay if you're alone, but if you're in a group of people, there's no place for you. Also, I took off my glasses so I couldn't see very well, but there was something like iron wire wrapped around the sauna door handle, and it was really hot. What was it? Huh?In the end, it was a good ryokan, but the climate and the number of guests were a little disappointing, so I would like to try another ryokan next time I go to Yamagata.
