I was very satisfied because I was able to eat a lot of local dishes made with wild vegetables and mushrooms. The food is delicious and I'm impressed. Each dish and ingredient was explained to me. There were some food items on sale at the morning market that opens around 6am, so I decided to buy some for myself. The hot springs were also very pleasant. I had a relaxing time and slept well. This is a place I would definitely like to visit again.

Even though it's a reasonable price, everything is perfect 👍I'm worried that if I rate it too high, it will be difficult to get reservations.

This is a homely and relaxing inn that will make you feel like you're staying at your grandmother's house in the countryside. The quality of the hot springs is good and the food is delicious. It's generally well-maintained and clean. The staff were very friendly and I felt comfortable using the hotel. This is an inn you'll want to come back to again.

I visited during Golden Week in 2023. Hijiori Onsen itself is a hot spring town, so there are many small inns, but I think Yuzo is suitable for solo travelers. I got the feeling that most of the guests just wanted to spend time alone, quietly and freely.I chose the morning and evening hot spring treatment plan, and both meals were served in my room and served on a plate, and when I finished eating, they left it in front of my room, which was great for me as I am a slow eater. The white rice is harvested from the rice terraces in Shikamura, Okura Village, and is glossy, chewy, and delicious! Even if you're alone, it will be served in a bowl, so if you're staying for multiple nights, bring a plastic wrap for your lunch. Even if you eat one bowl, you can make one large rice ball. It's a waste. The hostess will introduce you to various wild vegetables. Everything is delicious, and I can feel their dedication to providing delicious food despite the inconvenience of transportation. When I left, I received Yunohana and a towel as souvenirs.
