I stayed on the 6000 yen per night plan including breakfast. Yukata, bath towel, etc. are not included, so if you need them, it will cost 550 yen. If you tell them that you are going to Kaminoyu, they will give you a free ticket for guests. There are bathrooms on the first floor as well as on the third floor, and they are unisex, with a sign posted when women enter. The rooms were well cleaned. As for the service, the host speaks quickly, but he still seems energetic. The location is right next to the first village bus stop. If you purchase a village bus ticket on the bus, you will save 50 yen each way.

Takeshi Kitahara

It is one of the few inns in Hijiori Onsen that has its own hot spring source. Although some water is added in the bathroom on the 1st floor, you can enjoy freshly-springing hot water right from the source.

The first thing in the morning starts around 5:30 in front of you. The view from the lively room in the morning gave me a feeling of the Showa era and made me feel very peaceful. There are no keys in the room. The toilets are shared between men and women and are very old, and the washrooms are also shared and each person takes care of themselves in order, giving it a nice Showa-style feel. The hot water was great, but it was so deep that the handrails seemed to come loose, making it dangerous for children and the elderly. There were screws falling in the bathroom, which was dangerous, and the towels on the floor in the changing room were unhygienic, making it look like you had returned to a house in the countryside, so I don't think it would be suitable for clean-minded people. Also, the stairs are too steep for elderly people, so those with bad knees should avoid them. Good location and hot water.
