The location is in a rice field. The sunset is very beautiful. The open-air bath is also in a rice field...but the bath smells like dirt. The water that collects in the rice fields smells...The dinner might suit the tastes of fashionable city dwellers, but I couldn't eat it.I was hoping for a relaxing time reading a book at a quiet rural resort, but there were many families there and I could hear the cries of children. As the architecture and books were wonderful, there were many disappointing parts. At this price, I don't think I would stay there again.

For me the hotel is one of the best I have stayed in so far in Japan. The rooms are large and the toilet and shower are in two separate rooms in the room. The beds are great and the ambience with the light wood is great. The staff is very helpful. There is an onsen, a restaurant and a bar. Let us recommend a sake. Delicious. The breakfast is excellent. There is also a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast outside. The location in the rice field is something very special. But you have to walk a bit into town. But it only takes 10 minutes. It's about 20 minutes to the train station. A clear recommendation for this hotel!

The room was a little small since there were only two people.I was concerned about the smell of mold, probably because the room wasn't used much.I was a little disappointed because I heard it was good. There were no towels in the bathroom either, so it was a problem if you forgot them. There were no toothbrushes in the bathroom either.

It was so good! My husband and I had a relaxing time.I will only write about the points that I think could be improved if possible.Probably some of the spa members (judging from what they were saying, they seemed to be local regulars) didn't have very good manners in the sauna and bathroom. Bath sets, water in paper cups, plastic bottles, and used sauna mats were left in the seating area of the Amairo-no-Yu bath, taking up space. The seating area itself is very small, and even though it can only seat about 4 people even when packed in, 2 people are always being used, and I was very sad that some people were unable to take a bath in the outside air after sauna. I also noticed that they were talking loudly. It's a shame that some people come here to experience a special feeling, spending the not-so-cheap lodging fees and travel expenses from far away, so it's a shame that it feels like a local public bath. I wanted them to use it with a little more compromise.I personally don't want to be bound by too strict etiquette, but I would like to see some countermeasures taken, such as adding a comment to the user guide.I will come stay again!

As the name suggests, this hotel has a unique location and structure, almost surrounded by rice fields. When I visited, the rice fields were just golden yellow, and I could see them up close from the open-air bath. The large windows in the guest rooms and the all-glass features in the common spaces, combined with the low-rise, two-story building, made it feel strangely comfortable. If possible, I would like to stay for several nights and have a relaxing time.We also recommend checking in before sunset on sunny days. For the first time in a long time, I was able to see a deep red sunset over a vast sky.

This hotel was built in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, and incorporates the rice paddies into its scenery. It also has a restaurant that is open to the general public, and offers wedding plans that take advantage of the scenery.I was invited to a wedding ceremony held at Suiden Terrace. I've always wanted to go there at least once, but I never thought I'd be able to visit in this way. This wedding was a peaceful one, with only relatives and close friends of the bride and groom invited. The venue was located on the downstairs floor connected by stairs to the restaurant, which is open to the general public. The stairs are also used as the entrance for the bride and groom during wedding ceremonies. Although she looked difficult to get off in her dress, she was put to good use in the production.Above all, we are happy that the beautiful weather and the golden paddy fields filled with ripe rice made for a pleasant wedding day. It was a wonderful wedding party filled with a warm, handmade atmosphere from beginning to end.The food we received at such a wonderful wedding party was all made with locally sourced ingredients, and was enjoyable to both look at and taste.By the way, children's plates are available for children.Drinks are to be ordered, and there is no beer greetings that were common at receptions in the past, and the party style is relaxed and calm, with no forced drinks for the bride and groom. It belongs to.Both the bride and groom looked happy. It was a great wedding party.Thank you for the meal.

I stayed there because I wanted to experience a hotel inside a rice field. It was very comfortable and I was able to spend a relaxing time. There were libraries all over the place, so I was able to read books that I would never normally pick up and have fun spending time there.Since dinner was not originally included, it may not be appropriate to evaluate the hotel itself, but I will leave it here.I chose the cheaper course of 5,800 yen.Appetizer, main and dessert courseBread and snacks (olives, sauerkraut, etc.) are free, and you can enjoy them while you wait for your drink (ordered separately).Since it's a French portion, I don't think you'll be full even if you eat two dishes (our family ate a lot on the way and wasn't hungry).Breakfast was a buffet with mainly Japanese food, but there was also some bread, curry, and udon. The restaurant opens at 6:30, so many people come early and take seats by the window, and my family, who was about 10 minutes late, sat at a table by the wall.Since we were able to take our drinks home in paper cups, we were able to spend some relaxing time out on the terrace drinking coffee while looking out at the rice fields. There were two hot springs for men and women, and we bathed once in the evening and once in the morning. There is also a souvenir shop, where you can purchase everything from alcohol to handicrafts.
