This was my first time staying at a lodging inn as a family.Since it was the end of Obon, the hotel had the impression of being quiet, and the room was quite spacious and air-conditioned, so I was able to get a good night's rest. We had dinner in the large hall, but first the chief priest Miyata brought us sake, and my 20-year-old son happily drank it, exclaiming, "It's delicious!" I was served a plate of wild vegetable tempura, sesame tofu, simmered dishes, and soba noodles that I couldn't finish, but as the reviews say, the sesame tofu is exquisite! The bamboo shoot tempura was delicious, but the soba noodles were not at the level you'd normally get at an inn, and my soba-loving family raved about it.And I was moved by the morning prayer. The prayer itself was very authentic and I was filled with gratitude. It was amazing to see the names and addresses of each participant being prayed for one by one without interruption, like a song. The story of Dewa Sanzan was also interesting and an unforgettable morning. Thank you, Mr. Miyata Miyaji.Actually, I was nervous as it was my first time staying at a hostel, so I spoke with the hostess over the phone when I made the reservation, and she listened to me very carefully, which made me happy. It was so hot that day that I brought an ice pack, but thank you for kindly cooling me down!I was sent off with a conch shell, and I departed with a calm feeling. It was an unforgettable stay for our family trip. Thank you very much.

Since we were climbing Mt. Chokai and Mt. Gassan, we found several lodgings at the foot of Mt. Haguro that were convenient for the approach, but some of them wouldn't let regular guests stay, and we couldn't have dinner, Shojin-ryori, or alcohol. I thought we were able to order beer 🍺, perhaps because we were regular customers?Although the building is old. It's a relaxing inn with thoughtful service, and the three of us were able to relax in a room of over 20 tatami mats.

We requested a last-minute change to the breakfast menu for the next day of our stay due to the weather forecast, and they gladly accommodated our request. …

My name is Kubota, and my wife and I took care of him on August 28th.I was a little nervous as it was my first experience in a lodging, but the explanations from the host and his wife eased my fears and put me at ease. I learned a lot of things I didn't know.I also learned that you don't have to think about difficult things so hard, which made me feel better. I was happy to see the host (chief priest)'s personality and kindness. The morning prayers were also very authentic, and I was able to climb the mountain with peace of mind thanks to the exorcisms.Everything was great. In the car on the way home, my wife was in tears, saying, ``Let's come again!''I'll come back later! Thank you very much for your understanding.

It was my first experience staying in a lodging, but they were very kind and made me feel comfortable. The hot springs were pleasant, and all of the vegetarian cuisine was delicious.I was grateful that I had morning prayers and breakfast of chikara mochi before climbing Mt. Gassan.During dinner, I heard some valuable stories, and I wanted to hear more. When I left, they gave me a conch shell to see me off, and I was so happy that I almost cried tears of joy!I would like to use it again when visiting the shrine.

I stayed here for 2 nights to go to Mt. Haguro and Mt. Gassan. |Yukatas and towels are provided just like in a regular inn. Because we booked early, we were able to get a very large room. …

It's a very nice inn. Mr. Miyata, the owner, taught us about the method of visiting Dewa Sanzan, the history of Dewa Sanzan, and its characteristics, which was very helpful when visiting Dewa Sanzan. The accommodation was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. The music playing in the lobby was also nice. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. I am very grateful to you for praying for my safe visit to Mt. Gassan in your morning prayers. I was able to safely visit Mt. Gassan and Mt. Yudono. thank you very much. This is a particularly recommended lodging when visiting Dewa Sanzan!

We had lunch while visiting Mt. Haguro. It was a calm and familiar dish, as it was said to be Buddhist vegetarian cuisine. The sesame tofu in particular seemed delicious.I wanted to try the Gassan bamboo shoot tempura, but I'm a little disappointed.
