Satisfaction level is very high.I went there by car from Tokyo, and it was a bit far, so since I don't usually drive, I was a little nervous, but I'm glad I went.All the staff were very kind and friendly, and the food was delicious.Also, the room was very clean and the hot springs were great, so I thought it was a bit expensive considering the price per night, but considering the cost performance of the service etc., I thought it was quite cheap.I would definitely like to go again, next time in a different room.As a side note, are there not many tourist spots nearby? Perhaps because of this, there weren't many people everywhere, so it was a great way to relax, eat delicious food, take a hot spring bath, and buy lots of wine as souvenirs!

On the day of your stay, you will be welcomed with a welcome drink and sweets, and we will be treated to delicious dishes prepared with lots of love and locally sourced ingredients, filled with the chef's special attention to detail. This is the best inn in Yamagata.I've stayed here several times, and it's always quiet and peaceful due to the small number of rooms, and the interior and facilities have been carefully selected and beautiful.The food prepared by the Michelin chef is also the best, and you can fully enjoy the healing experience of the hot springs and meals.An inn like this has opened in Yamagata too! I'm impressed.

This is a wonderful inn that will make your time special.The staff and chef were very personable, kind and polite, and the distance between them was just right, so my husband and I were able to spend a relaxing, wonderful, and luxurious time together.The welcome drink service was great, and at dinner, we were given a pairing wine to go with each dish, making it a great dinner.There was also a late-night snack service, so I didn't have time to get hungry (≧▽≦)Of course the breakfast was also delicious.This is also an inn where I would like to stay.

(this is a review of the restaurant only, we did not stay in the hotel)We stayed at Yamagata the Takinami, and for one night they offered to let us eat at Osteria, and we agreed. I am incredibly glad that we did.The food is Michelin star level for sure. Presentation, quality of ingredients, and flavor were all off the charts amazing.We were served a 9-course meal with a wine pairing, with only about 6 other people. The dining room was not full, but there are not that many seats. It's a very intimate experience and you are practically in the kitchen as the chefs prepare your meal. Each course is well thought-out, and comes with a thorough explanation from the chef. I wish we spoke Japanese to fully understand, but we caught bits of it with Google translate and the staff did their best to help us with the important pieces of information.Everything is made with local ingredients and incredibly well prepared. Visually stunning, but even more delicious.After the meal the chef spent some time talking with the patrons, explaining his vision and answering questions. He is clearly very passionate both about the area and about food in general. The chef and the staff were all interested in why we were visiting Japan and what we were seeing while we were there. Thank goodness for google translate, but again, wish we spoke Japanese because I'm sure we would have gotten much more out of the experience.If you have a chance to visit this place, do not skip it!

I went to Takinami for the first time in four years at a newly opened Italian auberge.Not only the dinner but also the breakfast is very delicious.The sauna in the room is also nice with a hard setting.This time I will visit during the snow season.

A charming accommodation experience in Okitama that begins with sweets on arrival.Meals are 10 steps from the room. Enjoy Chef Harada's cooking while wearing your loungewear. This is a luxurious privilege that can only be found at an auberge.It's a lot of fun to watch the food being prepared in front of you, but the sweet sea bream with the aroma of firewood turned out to be the best aqua pazza I've ever had, and the Yonezawa beef paired with the mushroom soup was also delicious.Chef Harada's passion is through trial and error to convey the appeal of Okitama's ingredients, and he is still in the process of evolving. I'm looking forward to the future.The next morning, we went on a sea of clouds tour with historical commentary by former president Sudo. The conditions are perfect for autumn leaves, sunrise, and a sea of clouds. It is a spectacular view that is worth seeing.The time you spend at Shincherita is a gastronomy experience where you can fully enjoy Yamagata and Okitama. A unique and wonderful auberge.Both Van Gogh's paintings and Takeshi Kitano's films were not well-received at first, but as discerning commentators spread the word about their appeal, they gained worldwide acclaim.A good piece of work requires a good connoisseur's commentary.I think the staff at Takinami and Shincherita are like that in Okitama.I was impressed by Mr. Takinami's belief and determination to shoulder the burden of the region. Chef Harada's cooking is simply the best. Although Auberge is not very well known yet, I think it will become difficult to get reservations from now on. There are some restaurants that serve delicious dishes using ingredients from all over Japan, but the reason the quality of the food is so high is because they mainly use ingredients from within the prefecture, and the skill of the chefs, the high quality of the producers within the prefecture, and the nature of the area. This is an auberge adjacent to Yamagata Za Takinami. Three of the guest rooms are maisonettes, all with hot springs, and two rooms even have saunas. The restaurant, which was renovated from the former public bath building, is Chef's Table by Chef Makoto Harada. At the counter, you can enjoy Italian cuisine made with plenty of Yamagata ingredients. You can have a stay that will be a special memory.
