I wonder if homestay is like this!It was my first time to try aloe vera and local fish, and it was delicious, and I felt comfortable enjoying awamori with the guests and my husband.I was able to buy some nice souvenirs with the help of my wife, and I was able to see a lot of things in the half day before I left by hearing about various sights from my daughter. I'm glad I stayed at Katsurenso.

I visited on a solo trip. The owner and his wife, as well as the young lady helping them, were very personable and kind, and I felt at ease. The food was very delicious and the futon was comfortable! It was close to the sea and I had a peaceful time. There were no shops nearby, but there were three vending machines. We went to Funakus Beach🤿 and participated in a boat snorkel in the Yaebashi River on a boat operated by veteran Katsuren. A kind and handsome grandson will be our guide ☺️ I would like to visit again! Thank you very much☺️

The wife and husband of Katsurensou were kind, and the food was so delicious that I thought I would be happy if I could eat like this every day😃There are some guesthouses and hotels that make it hard to sleep. But it was good because it was easy to sleep here.

He was very kind and guided me to 4 spots in Yaebashi. Unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles, but the large corals and many fish were a sight to behold. The lunch box was delicious and came with fish soup. Thank you again.

Katsurenso is by far the best inn among the Ikema Island guesthouses on Miyakojima. Delicious fish caught by the fisherman's husband! The proprietress holds Okinawan dances irregularly (^^) in the dining room. The photo shows the proprietress dancing.I have stayed at many Okinawa guesthouses on remote islands, but this one is the best.

I stayed for 3 nights from April 23rd. Ikema Island and Katsurenso for the first time in 5 years are the best. The food at the stylish cafe is also super delicious😋🍴💕We also caught a lot of fish. It's my first big catch in my life 🎶It was an unforgettable time as the people on the island treated me a lot.I didn't get to see the big catch flag for the triathlon, so I'll definitely go around this time next year 💦💦
