This is the best pension where you can completely relax. I've been here since the time it opened, and the building has been maintained beautifully over the years, and the service provided by the owner and his wife are excellent. What deserves special mention is the room and the food prepared by his wife. The rooms have stylish interiors with no TVs, and the unified space provides a relaxing experience. In addition, the bathrooms and toiletries are of a quality comparable to those found in luxury hotels. Just relaxing in your room will soothe your mind and body. Taking a bath while looking out at the sugarcane fields and the distant scenery is a blissful moment.Additionally, the view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. Guests can enter freely, so we recommend sitting in a chair and relaxing, or relaxing in a hammock while looking at the starry sky at night. As for meals, we offer course meals that use Miyakojima ingredients as much as possible. The taste of the bonito and tuna from Miyakojima that I had here was unforgettable. The seasoning is a little strong, so if you like alcohol, you might enjoy drinking it as well. There is also a bar in the restaurant, so you can order cocktails etc. with your dinner. The food is very delicious, so I highly recommend staying with breakfast and dinner included.Additionally, washing machines and dryers can be rented for a fee, so it is possible to stay for a certain amount of time. This inn feels like a second home to me. The signboard cat is also cute and always gives me a sense of comfort when I visit. Actually, it's such a wonderful pension that I don't want to tell anyone about it.*There is only one point to note. My head feels itchy when I sleep, probably because there are dust mites in my pillow. The itching was clearly something I had not experienced at other hotels, so I think the pillow was the cause. If you are concerned about this, we recommend bringing a towel to put on your pillow.

A very comfortable inn nestled in a sugarcane field. There are only 4 rooms available, and each room has a different image color. This time we had a yellow room, and the owner's taste was so wonderful that I was impressed from the moment I entered the room.I was able to relax in a calm and luxurious space where I could feel the attention to detail in the aromatic scent, speakers, lights, and every small item. Both dinner and breakfast are comforting menus that bring out the flavors of the ingredients. There is also a bar, where you can enjoy a variety of drinks recommended by the owner. The signboard cats were also cute and very soothing. This time I stayed for one night, but next time I would like to spend more time at Matatatabiya for two or more nights.

The room, food and bar were wonderful. He said that he is involved in rescue cat activities, and that he wants to cherish the lives of cats. However, they don't seem to like rodents, and hamsters die after about three years, so wouldn't it be a good idea to keep them as pets? They said.I don't think there is anything light in life.P.S.It's been more than a few months since I stayed here, but I still have a hard time remembering how I was told, "You shouldn't keep hamsters because they'll die soon." I can't forgive that when I told them that I couldn't keep them because I couldn't take responsibility for their lives, my response was, ``I should just keep them because they're going to die soon.'' I should have had a fun time on Miyakojima, but when I look back on my memories of Miyakojima, I was told that ``hamsters will die in three years, so why not keep them?'' that overshadows my other happy memories. I shouldn't have stayed at this hotel. I made a reservation because I thought it was a wonderful inn that takes life seriously through rescue cat activities, but I didn't think that precious lives were limited to cats. When I was told that hamsters die quickly, I should have listened to what they meant instead of laughing out of shock. All my memories of Miyakojima are overwritten, wishing I hadn't chosen this hotel. It would have been better to have gotten angry from the beginning rather than remembering it later and crying. I was foolish to decide to stay at this inn. I cannot forgive this inn for speaking about life half-heartedly.

I stayed for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included. The interior of the room is lovely. Every nook and cranny is well-cleaned, and the theme color of the room is consistent.Yes, it's very comfortable.I enjoyed reading while listening to music and experiencing something out of the ordinary. If the weather is nice, relax in a hammock on the rooftop terrace. Watch the sunset or see the starry sky. There are many kinds of food, and everything is delicious. The presentation and tableware are also nice. While having fun talkingWe ate slowly. The homemade brown sugar ice cream was the best and I ate it after every meal. The passion of the owner and his wifeThis is a friendly inn for many travelers. When you come to MiyakojimaMatatabiya-sanIt's a choice. We recommend that you include breakfast and dinner.everything is perfectIn such a wonderful innI don't often come across them.I'm really thankful to you

My husband and I visited Miyakojima last year, and if we were to go to Miyakojima next time, we would definitely want to stay here! There are many good things about the stay, such as the delicious breakfast and the thoughtfully designed rooms, so you won't get bored, but above all, the two people's personalities were really warm and wonderful. Thanks to Matatabiya-san, the memories of my trip have become even more amazing.I'm really thankful to you!
