This was the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in considering everything from the facilities, cleanliness, price, and the owner's personality.I chose this inn because I was drawn to the pool and sauna. I arrived a little apprehensive because there weren't many reviews. It has a resort-like atmosphere surrounded by nature. The owner showed us the room right away.You can use everything including wifi, TV, coffee beans, water, dishes, washing machine (I really appreciate this!), etc. And if the time is right, you can even get bananas from the garden! (It was still green when I stayed...) You can order meals, and there are electric appliances such as refrigerators and microwaves. Furthermore, there are multiple bedrooms, so you can prepare beds according to the number of people. Since the entire building is reserved, it would be fun to stay in a group. The owner also lives nearby, so be careful not to disturb the neighbors.The number one highlight is the pool and sauna! It was truly a nature resort where you could look up and see a sky full of stars, and if you listened closely you could even hear frogs croaking.

I really loved this place! I honestly wish I’d stayed longer!Great location✨ It’s close to one of the most beautiful beaches on Amami, but it is far enough away from the main road to be both quiet and private.Plants and lights are stunning😍 At night, it was lit up with lights making for a beautiful island welcome. The inside was delightfully decorated with instruments and an island vibe throughout. The pool also looks absolutely stunning! However, since it was a little chilly at night, I only dipped my feet in. You will definitely feel surrounded by nature with banana trees and the chirping of birds and little lizards.Has everything you could need🍳☕ While I only used the kitchen for making my morning coffee (complimentary), it was very nice and had all the utensils you would need to cook up meals. If you don’t wish to cook, the owner also runs a restaurant nearby called the Art Jazz Cafe that I extremely recommend!Overall, it was clean, had great vibes, and made for an enjoyable stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Birdland Nature Resort for one night. The location is in a beautiful quiet little village, about a 5 minute walk to the ocean. The house is nicely decorated with multiple bedrooms, a kitchen, and full size bathroom. There is also apool and sauna. The property is gorgeous and you get a nice island experience. Would stay here again!
