The room was thoroughly cleaned. The hot water is constantly running in the bath! The best!Unfortunately, it was raining and the sea was gloomy.At breakfast, the waitress was busy and brought me tea, but she said, ``Please take your time,'' as she left the tea.I think it's okay to put down the tea, turn to the customer for about three seconds, and say, ``Take your time.''Nothing will change in three seconds.

I stayed at Hourai for one night.We were blessed with good weather and were able to take a bath indoors while watching a beautiful sunset.I was also happy with the detailed guidance from the room attendant and the explanation of the kaiseki cuisine. My once a year trip to Yamagata is here! I went there with high expectations, but it exceeded my expectations. It was a memorable trip. thank you very much.

As soon as I entered, there was a hot spring that I could drink.I could see the Sea of Japan from my room, but unfortunately there were a lot of clouds so I couldn't see a beautiful sunset.The food was delicious and the accommodation was good.

It will reopen in April 2024. Interior design: Shishi Kato, Yasutaka Yoshimura, Asami Sato, Masataka Baba, Mitsuru Sato, Masanori Negishi. This is a long-established inn in Yunohama Onsen that has been in business for over 200 years. We have six new types of ``concept rooms'' created by up-and-coming architects.

The sea view from the room is amazing. Also, you could take a hot spring bath in your room.For breakfast, you can enjoy a wide variety of side dishes and delicious rice.

I use HOURAI every year.You can really see the ocean and the sunset from the hot spring in your room.It feels good!This time we also used the sauna!You cannot enter the sauna without a special card key.You won't be able to enter by mistake!I was able to use detox water, tea, dried fruits, chocolate, and salt candy all the time! !The food was delicious, the tableware was nice, and the hot springs were pleasant, so I was able to spend a comfortable trip ❤️The wifi signal in the room was not very good.It was a shame. The first floor was very nice!Floating rings are available on Instagram. I didn't bring it because it said,It seemed like it was meant to be purchased rather than rented, so I floated with my life jacket on. . 😅On a sunny day, I was happy to snorkel and see fish swimming nearby!I will go again! !

I have used it several times since the days of "Kameya". This time, instead of using "hourai", we used a newly designed concept room called "Suikyo". We always have a few things we would like to ask for during our stay, and this time we discussed them in advance. At the dinner venue, we were given proper consideration, but at the breakfast venue, all of our requests were ignored, which made us feel very disappointed. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk, but the person did not respond well and did not provide a proper explanation. Last time I used it, it had the best "hospitality" in Japan...Is there really a difference between the rooms? Of course, I hope not. I would like to think that this time was just a coincidence, so I would like to stay again and experience the best hospitality that I experienced that time. Thank you.

Best of all, the sea view from the room is spectacular. If you have time, please use the sauna. Inside the modern building, there are drinks and dried fruits available at the rest area, so you can relax.

I stayed here on July 22nd. KAMEYA has been used by three generations of parents and children.It has been renovated and has become an even more attractive inn.For the past few years, I have been making reservations for ``Hourai'' on the top floor. Hourai is all-inclusive, so there are no charges for drinks or saunas, and you can eat in your room while watching the sunset. The bath in the room has hot spring water and is spacious, so there's nothing to say about it!At this time of year, if you want to have dinner while watching the sunset, I think it would be best to start at 6pm.This is an inn I would like to visit again next year.

This is my first stay. Breakfast and dinner are included. The portions of each meal are just right and exquisite. Although some of the physical parts of the hotel are a bit old, from some small places, you can feel that they are very attentive and the overall maintenance is very clean and tidy.The water temperature in the hot spring pool is not too hot, and you can directly overlook the Sea of Japan. I am personally very satisfied.The service staff's attitude is very friendly and their smiles are just right, making people feel at home and at ease. It is indeed a high-end hotel where the previous emperor and his wife stayed twice.It is also very close to Kamo Aquarium.It's just that maybe because of the economic downturn, many hotels and restaurants in the surrounding areas are closed at night, and there are no lights, so it's a bit dark when walking.

I made a reservation without meals because I wanted to see the sunset ✨The rooms overlooking the sea have a spectacular view✨Unfortunately, the clouds were raining on and off that day.I want to come again. I felt like my health improved after drinking the hot springs.

I stayed there.The room overlooking the Sea of Japan was very nice. There was also a hot spring in the room, so I was able to take a good rest!Personally, I really liked the fact that you can drink sake called “Kura”! For one coin of 500 yen, you can drink 3 types of local sake in Yamagata 😊 There were 10 types of sake, and the menu had explanations such as dry and sweet, which was very nice!Thank you to everyone who showed us where to park and the hotel staff who explained everything from check-in to meals, etc., for their sincere customer service!The price is a little high, but I was able to make memories that were worth more than the price 😊

I went to the renovated sauna for a day trip.I checked in at the front desk of the hotel, and since I had some time until my reservation time, I drank tea in the hotel lobby and waited.10 minutes before the scheduled time, the person in charge said it was ready and it was okay to go, so I was allowed to come in a little early.It was a Sunday afternoon, and I was the only customer, so I had a private place.There are two themes: sea and sky, and the men's and women's baths seem to change from time to time. The one I booked was by the sea.Starting from the changing room, it was stylish and I could feel the attention to detail in the amenities.There is also free detox water available in the ocean view rest area.The bath is a shallow bathtub where you can lie down. I had planned to enjoy the ocean view while sleeping, but there was a roll screen on the window.I tried to open it, but decided against it because there was a hotel next door right outside the window.There are two types of sauna rooms: a dry sauna and a self-flowing sauna.It was lukewarm at first, probably because it was too late to turn on the power.From the second set onwards, it was almost too hot.The water bath was large enough to swim in, and the temperature was a comfortable 15 degrees.Please note that there is a rule that you must wear a gown during breaks.I think it's probably because you can see it from the hotel next door.I still want to use it.

I went on May 15th.It's a lovely hotel by the sea.The reviews and magazines said it was an old hotel, so I went there without high expectations.However, the lobby was large and clean.The souvenir shop is a little small.We are HOURAI...😄The hospitality is very good.The sauna room was also nice.But the best part was the sunset.The hot springs are also a little salty😝.It was a little difficult to adjust the temperature, but I used it as many times as I wanted.The food was truly amazing.I want to go again.Risa-san in chargeThank you (*^^*)Thank you for your wonderful smile and kind and fun conversation.

I stayed in the concept room "Akagane".It has an interior that looks great on social media, and a hot spring bath with natural hot springs overlooking the ocean. In this bath, you wash your body in the shower room inside the room before taking a bath. The bathtub was only separated by a piece of glass, but it was ventilated 24 hours a day, so the room never felt stuffy.The scenery is amazing. It was a sunny day, so the sea was really beautiful. You can watch the sun go down on the horizon while soaking in the hot springs. The bathtub has just the right shape and is comfortable to lie down in.Due to the date and time of my reservation, I was only able to get a plan that included breakfast, but next time I would like to have dinner as well. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many people, so I was able to spend a comfortable and relaxing time.If I had to pick one disappointing point, it would be the lack of surrounding facilities. The nearest convenience stores and restaurants are few in number and difficult to reach on foot. At night, the area around the hotel is pitch black.This is my first time coming to Yunohama Onsen, and I hope that it will continue to develop.
