I stayed with my family. I was surprised to see so many large hermit crabs on the shore within walking distance. The sea seems to be popular for snorkeling, and there were many people snorkeling from boats on tours off the coast.The inn has only two rooms, so it's quiet. There was enough space for a family of three to live comfortably.With rice, we were given fish that the host had caught for us. The dishes prepared by the wife were a good mix of Amami Oshima's local cuisine and were delicious.This inn was featured in JAL's in-flight magazine.

The boat snorkeling at the inn was better than any other tour I've taken in Ishigaki, Okinawa. First of all, this area is shaped like an inner bay, so there are places where the wind is blowing in either direction and the waves are calm, so you can get out if you want. And the corals on Amami Oshima are in good condition! We could see different coral colonies depending on where we dived. branch coral, rose-like coral, and table coral. There weren't many people and I had it all to myself. I was able to swim with sea turtles at the beach entry. I also like fishing, so I do it in between snorkeling trips. It's too much fun. And the fresh fish, shrimp, and shellfish dishes that the host brings are the best I've ever seen anywhere else. My favorite dish is aburamen, which is stir-fried somen noodles. I liked the accommodation, food, and activities, so I've been going there regularly about once every six months for the past three years. He seems to have increased the amount of food he eats recently, and on his most recent visit, he was served so much food that he couldn't even drink alcohol. It's worth the 2 hour drive from Amami Airport.

I get the impression that solo travelers are not welcome.Is it because it's not very profitable?The food was as satisfying as expected.not very friendlyI want to go againIt was an unexpected stay.

I was surprised by the boatload of Ise shrimp and Ishigakidai! ️The outstanding deliciousness, the proprietress's carefully selected local cuisine served in stylish small bowls, the room, the personality, the starry sky, the excitement🎶

It is located along a quiet beach. I had high expectations because everyone gave it high ratings, but personally I give it 3 stars.The dinner was delicious, and even though I don't eat much, it was all over in no time. If you are using a shared bath, you will need to ask for help when filling up the bath, and you will need to put on your shoes and go outside while using the toilet. The bedroom is in a loft and temperature control is difficult. You can hear a lot of noise from your neighbors, and the chairs in the room are not shaped to make you feel comfortable. Various other things? ? ? But what about those who are used to traveling? ? I think it will be. It might be better for you to understand that we don't put the customer first.The above is my personal opinion, but please use it as a reference.By the way, Kagoshima Prefecture's coronavirus precautions are posted in various places, but this is not a travel support accommodation.

We stayed for 2 nights from June 10, 2021!I think the food is worth mentioning!The owner will handle the seafood he has caught while free diving, so you can eat it fresh!I was impressed by the funamori, which used fish that you would normally not be able to eat unless you were in this area, such as very large spiny lobsters and parrotfish.The breakfast was also great, as was the miso soup made with the head of spiny lobster and the rice cooked in a clay pot! !The owner and landlady were also very kind, and even though it was my first visit to Amami Oshima, they taught me a lot about the island and made it a wonderful trip!I would definitely like to visit again someday!

The food is great.For dinner, there was a large bowl of spiny lobster and fish, enough for four people.Breakfast is a local dish of evening spiny lobster made into miso soup.I was also able to drink brown sugar shochu, a rare product that can only be purchased on the island.The negative point was that there were no sofas or chairs in the room, so I couldn't relax.
