I used it on 2024/8/10.It is run by the owner who renovated an old private house. It was a very soothing space that still retains the atmosphere of an old traditional Amami house. The cleaning was thorough and I had a good time.For dinner, I chose BBQ. The owner served us some ``dragon fruit buds'' that he had received from a nearby farmer, a delicacy that is rarely seen on the market, and we had them grilled. It was very delicious.After dinner, we were very moved by the spectacular starry sky and Milky Way that we saw on the beach, which was just a 1-minute walk away! !For breakfast, I ordered chicken rice, and the soup stock was excellent, and I was so satisfied that I had 3 refills.The next day, I was planning to go snorkeling on Ukejima and participate in the fireworks and Bon Odori festival at Koniya, but thanks to the hospitable owner who taught me about delicious izakaya and supermarket onigiri, it was a great experience. It was a fun trip.I would definitely like to come again for consecutive nights next time.

My family of four stayed here during spring break.It was my first time on Amami Oshima, and I chose this inn because I wanted to experience the island's atmosphere, and it was a great decision.It's an old house with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you've returned to a country house.The bathroom and toilet are also well-cleaned.There were no concerns.For dinner, we ordered BBQ for dinner and BLT sandwiches for breakfast, and they were delicious and the portions were enough for my family, which includes a middle school boy.I was worried about insects because of the BBQ in the garden in the evening.I didn't really notice it because of the timing.At night, I was able to relax in the hammock while listening to the sound of the waves, which was relaxing.I took a walk on the beach, which was just a short walk away, but there was no one there and it was a nice atmosphere.It's a village on the edge of the island, so it takes a while to get there from the airport, but I think it's worth the trip!The owner was also very friendly and kind.I had some very good memories. thank you very much.

In August 2022, I stayed with my family with children for 3 nights without meals.The owner is kind and friendly. The house is kept tastefully and cleanly.We had a BBQ with friends in the garden and enjoyed the starry sky at a quiet beach just a minute's walk away.Since Amami Oshima was registered as a World Heritage Site, the number of tourists seems to have increased, but the area around Setouchi Town is still quiet.Highly recommended for those who want to spend some time relaxing away from the hustle and bustle.It would be a problem if it became popular and you couldn't make a reservation, but it's a recommended inn.

We stayed in Tsuki-chan's house for 3 nights from 25th of August 2022. The place is a renovated traditional Japanese house in Ryukyuan style architecture, very tastefully decorated. It is spacious enough to comfortably host about 5 guests. The kitchen has everything one could possibly need to prepare delicious foods and drinks and the owner kindly allowed us to use his spices and seasonings. The Bath (Ofuro) is in a small external building and the floor and walls consist of natural stone tiles, probably granite. The front yard has a very groomed and well cared for selection of flowers and bushes and is filled with small coral pieces and sprinkled with colorful glass beads giving it a very pleasant and inviting atmosphere. By car it is about 5 minutes to Katetsu which is a famous beach in a secluded bay ideal for swimming snorkeling and diving. It is also about 5 minutes by car to reach Honohoshi Coast one of the most beautiful shorelines on Amami Oshima. The closest town is Koniya about 15 minutes by car. All in all I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking to stay and relax on the wonderful island of Amami Oshima.

Of all the accommodations I've visited so far, this one was the best in terms of comfort, location, natural environment, and above all, ``fun''!I want to live in a place like this where I can relax from the bottom of my heart, away from the hustle and bustle of the city! This is an inn that makes me think.

The food, the sea, and the starry sky were amazing. Above all, the owner's thoughtfulness and kindness made us feel comfortable. I was able to feel healed and refreshed, and this is definitely an inn I would like to visit again.

This is an accommodation in an old private house located in Sokari, the farthest village on Amami Oshima from the airport.It is said that only one group per day and up to 8 people are allowed, but 4 to 5 people seems to be just right.The owner, Kura-chan, prepared dinner and breakfast for us.This time I was alone, so I relaxed as much as I wanted, but I think it would be fun to have a barbecue in the garden with your family.There is a bath in a separate building, and there is also a washing machine, so it seems like it would be a good place to stay for a few days.It's only a 1-minute walk to the beach, and you can have the best beach all to yourself.

I called from overseas to ask some questions about the accommodation I had booked, and as soon as a young man answered, he yelled at me in a snarky voice, saying, "Don't call me without asking!" Isn't it "Tsuki-chan"? When I asked him this, he yelled again, "No!" and cut off the phone. I checked the phone number multiple times. If the phone number listed on the booking form or Google Maps is really incorrect, please correct it. If I received such a response even though I had a phone number, I would be shocked even before I went on the trip, so I would cancel the trip.

I stayed there for about a week the other day! ! The guest house has a very calm atmosphere and is fully equipped with everything and is very comfortable! It's a place you'll want to stay again! ! Kura-chan, who runs Tsuki-chan, is so funny and wonderful! The delicious food and service filled with love and kindness are truly wonderful! ! I have used it several times! It's a very relaxing place. There's only one bathroom, so if you're in a large group, it can take a while to take a bath, but it's always manageable (^^;)
