I was looking for an inn near the airport and didn't research the name of the inn well. So, let's do it here! That's what I decided. The place I visited was very nice, with an incredible ocean view, and above all, the couple was kind... Thank you very much. I will go again!

Great view from the room! Hospitable host, don’t worry about the shares bathroom- it’s new, clean and there are only 3 rooms so you almost never wait. Good location close to restaurants and rental place. Walking distance to the beach where you can snorkel.The only drawback is that the bed is a futon, so it’s ok for one person, but I wouldn’t sleep there with a girlfriend.

The Halenakana Hotel is simple, but impresses with its incredibly warm owners. Even though I still speak little Japanese, the communication worked. The view and the peace here is incredible. Very clean and helpful. Since I was not here by car and did everything on foot, the location was ideal.Also two dive centers are close by and pick you up from the hotel and bring you back. I can only warmly recommend this little inn. I will be back!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Location is fantastic. 😎The ocean is literally across the street & great for swimming /snorkeling. 🤿Wonderful ocean view from the balcony. Highly recommend drinks 🍹 on the balcony watching the moon rise 🌛over the ocean, or enjoying a coffee & ocean breeze to start your day. ☕️Rooms are spartan, but clean. ‘Elua has a small 2seat sofa & end table. Small refrigerator with Welcome beer & water. You can use a hot pot water boiler in room for coffee or tea.Toilets, sink & shower are shared, well maintained & kept clean.Although there were other guests, you’d not notice…very quiet.I only interacted with the owners at checkin. They were friendly & took the time to show me the rooms & facilities.The air conditioning kept the room cool.If you don’t like sleeping with air conditioning, you can borrow a circular fan & at night open the balcony window & take advantage of the ocean breeze to cool the room. 🧊Although no meal service is provided there is complimentary tea & coffee & Welcome Drinks 🤩, there are a number of good restaurants & cafes nearby as well as small convenience store.Highly Recommended.I will stay here again.

Thank you for staying with me for 3 nights and 4 days.◆The two owners are very kind and nice people. They made reservations for snorkeling over the phone, marked recommended spots on the map, and brought things I had forgotten to the airport. That was a really big help.◆The rooms are also clean and have a pleasant scent. You can see the sea from the balcony. The toilet and bath are shared, but it's clean so it's not a problem. Bath towels etc. will be replaced if requested. They also provide plenty of amenities, so you won't have to worry about anything. They also provided beer and water in the fridge. Thank you for the meal.◆I think the location is convenient. About 15 minutes by car from the airport. 5 minutes by car to the famous Heart Rock. There are also famous shops and beaches.

I used it on my first trip to Amami for 3 days and 2 nights.I wasn't familiar with the area and was busy sightseeing, so I ended up being quite late at check-in, but they were very kind to me.Although I had done a lot of research beforehand, I hadn't finished dinner, and since it was late, there wasn't much room anywhere. We searched together for various things.The next day, they gave us information on activities to enjoy in the area and information on delicious bakeries.The room was very comfortable, and some people may be concerned about the noise from the room next door, but since we were both living together, it didn't bother me at all.The room and futon were very clean, the view was very good, and the toilet, bath, and washroom were all very clean.I didn't use the amenities as I had brought them with me, but they included shampoo treatment, body soap, towels (if you leave them outside the room after use, they will replace them with new ones the next day), hair dryer, mirror, refrigerator, and glasses. , hangers, etc. are provided so you don't have to worry about it.I would recommend it to my family and friends, and I would like to use it again when traveling to Amami.The owners were a very nice couple.
