I like both the service and location.I arrived late at night, but I was impressed by how well they responded and even gave me some freebies.The building was built several decades ago, and the stairs are steep, the elevators are slow, and the rooms and furnishings are reminiscent of the Showa era. The room was very clean and had a nostalgic feeling of being at my grandma's house.It seems like it's run by an elderly couple who are the same age as my grandparents, so I hope you'll take good care of them when you visit.By the way, if you are looking for the latest facilities, extreme cleanliness, and convenience, you may want to go to another very clean hotel.

The personality of the landlady is the best!Apparently, she was dancing at a disco in Shinjuku around the time of Saturday Night Fever, and the story of the 1970s blossomed.The record collection is also excellent, featuring the latest Western music of the time, including disco sounds, AOR, and West Coast style rock.The breakfast is voluminous and delicious, no complaints.The rooms are old, but the entire Koniya is a retro Showa era town, so I guess that's to be expected.However, there is a snack bar next door, and there is no karaoke until 0:00 on weekends.Well, there's no problem if you go somewhere to drink during that time.

For work on Kakeroma IslandI am currently staying at this hotel.The food is delicious and I feel comfortable.

I stayed there the day before going to Kakeroma Island. It's a fairly old building, but they've worked hard to renovate it, so if you like Tora-san, you'll find the oldness appealing. The price is low and the breakfast at this hotel is very satisfying.Please be aware that this is an old building before using it. I got used to it quickly, but the smell in the room bothered me at first.
