It is used by two generations of parents and children. My father used this hotel for mountain climbing, I used it for touring on my motorcycle when I was younger, and now my husband and I use it at a relaxing hot spring hotel 3-4 times a year. The rooms, baths, and meals are all my favorites at this inn. What I look forward to the most is soaking in the utase-yu and enjoying salt-grilled mountain women's Bungo beef with a glass of cold sake.Of course, other dishes are also delicious. You can also take a bath in all the baths. My favorite is the cave hot spring bath. The hot spring has no smell and has a refreshing feel. It's quiet at night, so I can sleep soundly, take a pleasant bath in the morning, and the breakfast salmon has just the right amount of salt, and the miso soup is delicious.Breakfast also comes with dessert.I became friends with the landlady and we became familiar faces.Personally, I've been using it since I was young, and it's an inn where you can spend a relaxing time without any hesitation.I have a Shiba Inu, Kiki-chan. She is a cute Shiba Inu who gets used to it and is fluffy when you pet her.

For hot spring expertsBest if you want to purely enjoy “hot springs”If you want to enjoy a hot spring town, Oita Prefecture boasts the best hot springs in Japan, and there are many major hot springs such as B, Y, K, etc., so go there.Sandwiched between the mountains, Sujiyu Onsen is the only hot spring (there is only one shop in front of the public bath, Utaseyu). However, I have visited many hot springs in Kyushu, but Sujiyu Onsen is one of the best (the reason is that it is an overwhelmingly hot real hot spring, so I am not a hot spring enthusiast, but the hot springs here are amazing)I also love Atami and Ito (a typical example of everyone getting together for a party, playing golf the next day, wandering off, buying dried fish at the shopping street in front of the station, and going home), but hot springs are the opposite of that.Take a bath while listening to the murmur of the river, and drink beer while admiring the mountain ridgelines. The baths at the inn (2 good-sized open-air baths, 2 elegant family baths, a steam bath that uses hot spring steam as it is, not a simple free-flowing bath, but overflowing with hot water directly drawn from magma, and a rock in the bathtub) Once you've fully enjoyed the hot water (it feels hot to the touch), you can go down the steep slope and enjoy the Utaseyu (there are eight twin cannons, four on each side). An overwhelming sense of superiority as I drink beer on the bench in front of the Utaseyu, wearing a yukata and watching the day trip bathers hurrying home by car.A relaxing day with the sounds of river deer, nightingales, and the babbling of the river, without unnecessary music or annoying TV monitors in the city.If there is a place nicer than here, please let me know.

This is a very good inn that has measures in place to prevent infectious diseases. The bath was reserved for private use and was relaxing. The food was also delicious. The flowers in the parking lot were also cute.
