I took a quick look at it on the evening of August 3, 2024.The back side of Matsushima's bridge was broken, so it was impossible to enter.

I visited them at a day camp on May 5th. I was worried about the effects of the earthquake, but I saw the same blue sea and sky as before, and Mt. Tateyama in the distance.

I've used it several times, and it's a wonderful place every time I go.Time passes slowly, the sound of the waves is soothing, and I want to go again soon.I hope that the damage caused by this earthquake, tsunami, etc. is minimal.

It's my favorite place. I revisited the place after the state of emergency was declared in November 2022, but barricades had been set up prohibiting anyone without a reservation from entering, including previewing.I think it's understandable that people are nervous about the coronavirus because of the location, but I was a little disappointed in the way they turned away visitors.
