It's just a small square separated by a rope.It may not be suitable for people who like others around them.Although I used it during the rainy season, I saw quite a few Ao Taisho. I don't think it will be a problem as long as you don't go into the bushes.

If you go there at night, it's pitch dark...The road passes through a narrow private house and is a short distance down a narrow mountain road.It was a little scary.I didn't go camping.

I used it solo before the rainy season officially started. There is no signboard at the entrance to the campground on the main street, and it can be a bit confusing the first time you go as you enter a residential area and go up a narrow mountain pass that is difficult to cross. You can go to reserva from the Yasugi City homepage and make reservations online, so you don't have to worry about it being crowded, but there are 6 sites and they are relatively close to each other, so it might be a little difficult to feel completely solo. Nakaumi is right in front of you, so the view is amazing! However, the seaside area seems to be a walking route, and locals often take walks there. Although it is not possible to drive into the site by car, it is less than a minute's walk from the parking lot, so there is no problem with transporting some heavy objects. The toilets and washrooms were well maintained and clean. There is no direct sunlight in the morning or evening due to the shadow of the mountains, but there is plenty of sunlight during the day, so it is recommended that you take precautions against heatstroke in the summer.

I used it for camping. After enjoying SUP at Nakaumi, there was a shower available so I took advantage of it.The road is narrow. The camper family next door was letting their children play loudly from 5am, and the couple was also talking loudly from morning, which was a nuisance. It would have been the best campsite without that family of campers.

I reserved site F, but the street right next to it was lit all night, so I recommend a tent with an eye mask or dark shade. Also, the Hitachi Metals factory siren sounds at regular intervals, so earplugs are recommended. As long as you keep these two points in mind, this is a high-quality campsite that you won't believe is free. Therefore, it is difficult to make online reservations on weekdays as well as weekends, so be sure to check online frequently.

Bicycles and electric scooters run on the promenade and it is dangerous. When I complained to the city, they did nothing. Although it says on the website that bicycles and motorcycles are not allowed in areas other than the parking lot. It's annoying because he's so proudly riding his bike like he's his own man! I wish it would fall into Nakaumi!

It's free, clean, and the facilities are well maintained. The only thing to be careful about is when the wind direction is southwest. When strong winds blow from Nakaumi, tarps are taken away.*Basically, it is surrounded by Mt. Tokami, so it is a campsite that is extremely strong against wind.
