I used it in mid-June.It was a wonderful campsite. However, there are only two groups of users.It was cheap, the location was great, and it was great.It was also great for bird watching.There was something disappointing, but it wasn't the campsite's fault, and I'll explain that later.Bungalows have check-in times, but free sites have no check-in or check-out times. The administrator will be there in the morning, so you can accept the reception. The manager seems to be here until around 5pm."Transportation of luggage" was a concern based on other reviews.・Transporting gravel from the parking lot using a rear car・Transportation route is long・TiringI was scared because of this, but nothing really happened.It's not much different from other car-free campgrounds.Compared to the campground in Hakodate Onuma, it's easy.There aren't even any rear cars there.However, it is better to have an adult male in charge of the ``slope x rear car''.If a person who is not accustomed to using a rear vehicle carries heavy cargo, the vehicle may run out of control and cause serious injury.If you start to drive out of control, you can lower the handle of the rear car to the ground, but if you don't do that and keep pushing, your feet will slip on the gravel and it's dangerous.Never let a child do it.The toilets are old but kept clean.I sit down and relieve myself. Even my strict wife gave me the okay.The kitchen only had water, but it was clean.Bonfires are OK as long as they don't damage the grass.There was a concrete block, so I asked them to put it underneath just in case.The manager was also a kind person.It seems that the street lights are not turned off.I set it up near a streetlight, but I didn't use the main lantern that day.It's pitch black at the lake, so I didn't feel like there was a lack of atmosphere due to the street lights.There are many wild birds. Also recommended for birders.At the end, write down the names of the birds you saw or heard.I heard the voice of a tiger thrush in the middle of the night, and it was a fantastic sound, as it is said to be a nue, a monster.The one disappointing thing was that a white Toyota SUV pulled up in the parking lot in the middle of the night, then drove off, and I could hear the frantic cries of a puppy coming from the parking lot. Maybe he abandoned the dog.I went to look at the sound.I thought it was the owner, but I heard the flower chirp. However, it seems that the cat realized that it was not its owner and ran away into the darkness of the mountain without crying.It's almost dark, so there's no evidence of anything, but it's a puppy.When I reported this to the manager, I was told that there were people illegally dumping tires and car parts in the parking lot, and people playing around with their cars slipping on the gravel. The other day, I used it for family camping from August 10th to 11th.The administrator was kind and helpful, and the location and site were nice. There is a vending machine in front of the administration building.The site was far from the parking lot, and the path required walking through stairs and a sloped gravel road, making it difficult to carry luggage. When loading and unloading luggage, vehicles can be parked next to the aisle. There are two trailers. If it's crowded, it's first come, first served.Although I was using it during summer vacation, there were few people using it, so I was able to spend a quiet time.Our family had a spacious space on the downstream side, and our children had fun installing a hammock on a standing tree near a bench.The toilets and kitchen are not that new, but they were well maintained and clean. I was worried about mosquitoes since it's near a lake, but the only insects I saw were horseflies.In addition, there is an ash dump site, garbage can be taken home, boats are available, and the tap water is equipped with a simple water purifier. Although there is no play equipment for children to enjoy, it is a great place to spend some quiet time while looking out at the lake. I still want to use it!

When I asked the staff at the administration building if I could pitch my tent and stay the night in the multi-purpose plaza in front of the second parking lot, I was told that I was free to do so, but the next day I yelled at another staff member to pitch my tent there. What! he yelled. Even though I explained to them that I had confirmed the situation the day before and was setting up the site, they didn't listen to me at all and I didn't have much to say.I was worried because the attitude of the staff in the administration building was erratic, but my bad hunch turned out to be true.Also, even though I was careful, I was warned loudly from more than 100 meters away, echoing throughout the park, which was very scary.This campground has great facilities, but the people who run it are terrible.

I used it for 2 nights. Normally it would be a quiet and relaxing place, but the occupants of the bungalow were playing music on speakers until after midnight, so I couldn't sleep, and it finally subsided after I warned them twice.I think it's good to be open when camping, but I got the impression that the manners were bad. Listen in your own bungalow! ! That's what I thought...(lol)As the number of such people increases, it will become necessary to explain the terms of use. It's sad to think that a lot of things have to change because of some bad manners users.

Autumn leaves on the shore of Lake Tomisato.I don't know if the camp had ended or if it was closed due to the coronavirus, but since there were no people around, I was able to take photos from various angles ~ lol.There are cottages, kitchens, etc., and the facilities are substantial.I think camping with minimal equipment will give you a more fulfilling feeling of camping.There is also a trailhead for Mt. Nikoro, so it is possible to climb the mountain in between camping trips.I think it will take more than 2 hours one way.Please consider your departure time carefully before climbing.

The climb up Mt. Nikoro from here is the best❗

Anyway, nature is abundant! forever and ever!
