The owner is very friendly and sociable and will help you to organize trips and even drive you to the station (and he'll gladly chat with you in English/Japanese). The rooms are nicely done in japanese style, the beds are comfortable and the (shared) shower/bathtub is luxurious.The neighbourhood is quiet (except for the nearby school during daytime).Only slight drawback is the distance from the station, but you can take the bus or enjoy a walk 20min along the canal.If you happen to visit in May/June, make sure to visit Yuushien-Garden (on an island in lake Nakaumi).

The bathrooms are shared, but they have been newly renovated and are very clean. The room is not new, but it is clean and there is no problem if you just want to sleep. There is no TV in the room. There was an outlet for each bed, which was convenient for refilling.The owner was kind, and when I asked if there was a restaurant within walking distance, he made a reservation over the phone at a reasonably priced and delicious izakaya.There was also a convenience store within walking distance, which was convenient.

The facilities are super clean and the house offers everything you need. The owner Mr. Nambe is super friendly and speaks very good English. He provided us with a lot of information about the area.

The owner, Mr. Namba, is very friendly and open. He can speak English very well and has many good recommendations for things to do around town, how long it takes to get there and prices. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The guest house is located in a convinient area that's close to everything, but still very quiet. Highly recommended!

I visit once every six months, and the inside of the house is always tidy and clean.This must be the owner's commitment, and I think the people staying here are very happy.
