The inn was so close to Izumo Taisha that it was only a 1-minute walk from Izumo Taisha, so I was able to go to pray early in the morning just as Izumo Taisha opened. The inn had a courtyard and was decorated with flowers, giving it an elegant feel. There was a large selection of rice, and it was delicious.

I was surprised that I was able to stay at an inn that was only open to two groups per day, even though I was alone. The food was also delicious.

It was a very nice and quaint inn! Anyway, the food is gorgeous! delicious! It was great! They say they only take two groups a day, and on the day I used it, there didn't seem to be anyone else staying, so it was reserved exclusively. I have already made a reservation for the next time. However, there is no toilet or washroom in the room, and although there is a private bath, it is not attached to the room. There was no air conditioning in the bathroom, so it might be difficult during the cold season. There are some inconveniences, but even with that in mind, it's the best accommodation ever! ! By the way, the location is excellent, about 5 minutes walk from Izumo Taisha. Definitely recommended if you want to visit Izumo Taisha!

Stayed on April 5th. This ryokan is located very close to Izumo Taisha Shrine. It is a traditional Japanese house, and the workmanship of the fittings and transoms is also wonderful. The environment is very quiet and calm, and the room faces the Japanese garden, so you can relax while looking out at the garden. The bath includes cleansing products, facial wash, shampoo, and treatments that women will appreciate. The food was delicious and the owner was kind, so I was really glad I stayed here. The room was a bit cold, but it's a Japanese house that was built a long time ago, so I guess that's unavoidable. However, the cleaning is done well and it is clean. I would like to use it again.

This is a small inn in a convenient location, just a 1-minute walk from the main shrine gate. When you turn the corner of Family Mart, you will see a signboard. The building seems to be from before the war, and the area around the entrance is particularly dignified.Enter through the swept front entrance. As soon as I arrived, I gave my name and was taken directly to my room without any check-in procedures. This time we stayed at "Matsu" which is located at the end of the first floor. The room is 8 tatami mats in size, and the north side faces the garden. Toilets and washrooms are shared. The garden was deep and spacious for such a small inn, and seemed to be well maintained. The check-in book was placed in the room, and we filled it out and handed it to them at the time of the meal. There seemed to be about 10 guest rooms, but only two, ``Matsu'' and ``Tsuru,'' listed on the website, appeared to be currently in operation. When we stayed there, it was reserved even though it was a weekend. This time, I took the plunge and went for the deluxe plan (although I think 15,400 yen/person is cheap. It looks like the plan will change from April 1, 2024). Meals will be eaten at ``Take'' in the adjoining room. It's not a strict kaiseki meal, but the menu is listed from the beginning just like the one posted on the homepage. Still, it's full of volume, including the crab! Not only was the quality good, but the quantity was so good that I thought I couldn't eat it all. I asked for local sake, and received 300ml of Okuizumo's Shichikanuma cold sake.Breakfast was a sumptuous Japanese set meal, and the amount was just right. As mentioned above, the baths are limited to 2 groups, and each of them is reserved for private use. This time, the bathtub was apparently on the smaller side, but the bathtub was big enough for two people to stretch out, and there were two washing areas. I was impressed that there was a facial cleanser in addition to conditioner shampoo and body soap. The hot water seemed to circulate and had a chlorine smell, but it wasn't strong enough to linger on my body. Bathing hours were from check-in until 11pm, and from 6am in the morning. A hair dryer is provided in the changing room. Towels and bath towels were provided in the room as well as in the changing room.In addition to a toothbrush, the toiletries included a razor and a shower cap in the sink in the changing room. I couldn't find any combs.Despite being a historic building, I think this inn offers excellent cost performance. The quality of the food was also satisfactory. Some of the things I was concerned about were the slippery shoji shoji between the room and the large porch, the fact that the air conditioner didn't seem to be kept well-maintained, and the common room that seemed to be infrequently used. I was surprised that the lid of the trash can was sensitive.

The dish with crab posted here looks like a deluxe plan, so we stayed on the standard plan. Is the crab served only with vinegared fish? No grilled fish either. I also checked the website, but crabs and grilled fish were not offered as advertised. There is only a slight difference in price, so if you are having trouble choosing a plan for your stay, we recommend the deluxe plan. The fish (sashimi) is very delicious, but the seasoning of the soup stock etc. doesn't suit Kansai people, so I feel like I failed even more. Unfortunately it was salty.
