We are planning to visit you again in October. The appearance of the inn, the kindness of the people, and the deliciousness of the food are all wonderful. It's a wonderful inn. It's a warm and homely inn where many children stay!

A new inn nearby was fully booked so we decided to stay here. It's old but kept clean.Bath and toilet are shared. The futon is not the latest mattress, but it's enough for just sleeping! There is no food provided, so you will have to eat at a nearby restaurant. It's not a luxury inn, but a place where people working on site stay for long periods of time.I'm completely satisfied with this price for a room without meals!

I went back home for a memorial service at my husband's parents' home and stayed there with a large group of children and grandchildren. One night and two meals for only 8,500 yen!I regret not finding it sooner. Since we were a large group, they told us that they would prepare three rooms for us, but since we were family and siblings, it was fine. So, I was given two rooms and separated into men and women. It looked like it was a school trip, and the kids (though they were adults lol) were making a lot of noise until midnight. The food is also full of volume, with handmade soba noodles flavored with cherry blossoms. There were more of them than women, but the men ate them up.I had just the right amount of breakfast and was able to finish it all without leaving anything. The mother of the inn is elderly, but she is energetic, friendly, and very warm-hearted. As mentioned in other reviews, I was a little worried when making the reservation, but I guess that's part of the ``taste'' of this inn.I like it very much. I want you to keep going and I will definitely go again. Soda Ryokan is your only choice!P.S.: It is also barrier-free, so I made sure to advertise it to my relatives who have children who use wheelchairs.I think we'll be staying together next time, so we hope to see you again then 😆

Visited in November 2021. Book online at R Travel.A ryokan located in the Mitsunari district of Okuizumo town. It's about a 15 minute walk from Izumo Mitsunari Station.I was assigned a Japanese-style room in an old building, but it had a nice, historic feel (and it was a corner room). The washroom is in a separate room. The washrooms, baths, and other plumbing facilities are in a new building and are in good condition. The food is impeccably delicious and uses plenty of local ingredients such as crab. I think the cost performance is quite high.Since it is a family-owned business, there are some aspects that are not flexible, but you can feel the warmth. On the day I checked in, the parking lot was full and it looked like it was full.I think this is a very popular and highly satisfying inn.

I love this ryokan so much that since I'm from Okuizumo, I have to stay at Soda Ryokan whenever I return home. When I checked in, the old lady greeted me cheerfully and I felt like I was back at home.Anyway, the food is voluminous and I use it every time.Okuizumo is a touring spot, so we also recommend it to bikers! Please try staying once 😊

This is a quaint, old-fashioned inn.I think this is a ryokan where you can enjoy the traditional structure and atmosphere. Both new, modern inns and quaint inns like this one have their own good points, but I like these kinds of inns and will continue to use them in search of the atmosphere. The hospitality and appearance remind me of my parents' home, which is no longer there. This is a ryokan where you can enjoy the atmosphere and humanity, regardless of whether it is old or bad.The food is delicious, and I think it's a valuable ryokan now that it's being renovated everywhere. Also, since we are a parent-child business, we are not a one-man operation.Management efforts have been made and the cleaning is thorough.Thank you again.

I stayed there, but the phone call for reservations was strange, so I went there and found that it was run by an old woman in her 80s who was hard of hearing. It was an old inn, and the windows were full of gaps, and the shoji screens were also full of gaps. , senbei zabuton, senbei futon, senbei pillow, the accommodation room was on the second floor, the toilet was on the first floor, and it cost 6,000 yen for a room without meals. It seems that it will close soon. I could barely sleep. I see some pretty good comments about this inn, but no matter how I think about it, I can't understand it.

The cost performance is the best. This would be difficult to achieve elsewhere. Also, it is especially convenient if you come by the Kisuki Line. Transfers to and from the station can be negotiated with the owner, who has deep pockets. I would like you to use it, and I will also use it again. The food is also delicious. I would like you to enjoy it with two meals included.

Baths, toilets, and washrooms are shared, but every nook and cranny is kept clean, and the furniture is Asian-style and arranged without any discomfort, making it a ryokan where you'll feel like you'll want to stay forever. It's a great place to go to Izumo Taisha, Matsue, and Tottori, and I ended up staying here for several nights. The food is delicious and plentifulI don't want to teach, but it was an inn that I wanted to teach.
