The draft beer service upon arrival was hot, which was great for my dry throat. Dinner was served in the room and was luxurious and very delicious, with black-throat fish, crab, and sashimi. The bath was not large, but the hot water was very hot and made my skin moist. The white rice was very delicious and the employees were very considerate. I was able to relax and relieve my fatigue.

*Please note if you have booked a room with an open-air bath*I had reserved a desired room with an open-air bath on October 5th, but on the evening of September 29th, less than a week before my check-in date, I was told that the toilet in the room I had booked was broken and I couldn't use it, and that I had to leave the room. There is a toilet in ○○, so would you agree? ' I received a phone call. When I asked when it had been broken, I was told it had been broken since mid-September. When I asked why they contacted me now even though it's been two weeks, they replied, ``Previous customers have been given a 10% discount.'' They asked us to stay in a room without a toilet for 80,000 yen for two people (or 70,000 yen with a 10% discount). My partner and I decided to look for a hotel with a toilet, since we don't need an open-air bath. Even if it's broken and can't be repaired, you should have contacted us more in advance. I didn't feel that they were sincere in trying to contact me as soon as possible so that I could find another good accommodation, but rather, I felt that they had malicious intent in contacting me after the other accommodations were full and it was difficult to cancel. Ta. After I hung up the phone, I immediately looked for another hotel, and fortunately I was able to find an inn with a guest room with an open-air hot spring bath, so of course I didn't stay at this inn. I was really looking forward to the trip and I was worried that I couldn't get a room of the same level...I had to search in a hurry and I felt really bad. As of September 29th, two weeks later, the website only boasts of Jalan's high ratings and does not mention that the toilet in the guest room with an open-air bath is broken. This is a sincere inn that cannot respond quickly.

I visited you last summer and found it to be a very nice accommodation, so I stayed for two nights this year.Hot springs that make your skin smoothHistorical building and quiet space where small children cannot stayvery delicious mealEveryone at the innIt's the best in everythingLast year, I was a little embarrassed when I checked out and didn't touch it, but I'll be back this year! I waved my hand and said, ``Thank you for all your help.''This is my favorite inn that will warm your mind and body.We hope that everyone staying at the inn stays healthy and doing their best. The problem is that it's far from where I live, but I'll definitely visit again.Once again, thank you very much for your heartfelt service, delicious food, wonderful hot springs, and clean space ♡

The rooms with open-air baths are very good. It's hard to find old trees or moss-covered garden stones in a space that large. The food is okay. Customer service is very good.

Saruji is related to Toyama, and I don't like raw fish, but the food here was fresh and delicious.Breakfast is average. It was.

Please note that the content written here is from when I stayed at Yumoto Tamaikan over 10 years ago.Once upon a time, when I was a schoolboy, I was looking for a hot spring inn because I wanted to soak in the hot springs of Tamatsukuri Onsen, a famous hot spring in the San'in area. I think it was when I encountered an elderly couple who happily said, ``I'm sorry,'' as they boarded the car that sparked a small spark.Among the many hot spring inns, I suddenly found myself thinking, ``Autumn~ [One group per day! 】Let's stay on the 3rd floor of a 3-story wooden inn! ” catchphrase caught my eye. That was the moment I decided on Yumoto Tamaikan. At that time, there was no San'in Expressway yet, so we entered Prefectural Route 25 from National Route 9, which ran parallel to the San'in Main Line, and after a short distance we were greeted by the Tamatsukuri Onsen Entrance sign.We were at a Y-junction, and when we turned the steering wheel to the right, we arrived at the entrance. The road was a bit narrow following the river, but it was wide enough that it was not necessarily impossible to separate from oncoming traffic. The name of the river is Tamayu-gawa, and Hi-i-kawa. )The water system originates from Mt. Funadori in Okuizumo and flows into Lake Shinji. There are many hot spring inns on both sides of the Tamayu River. The townscape of the hot springs is truly Taisho Romantic? It reminds me of the retro Showa era. If you keep going a little further, there will be a parking lot on your left where you can park your car. When we let them know that we had arrived, a car (at the time, a microbus, and maybe still the same today) came to pick us up from Yumoto Tamaikan. This was because our hotel did not have a parking lot.Right in the middle of the pick-up line, the hostel where we would be staying tonight was waiting for us, wrapped in the fabric of many years. When we were led to the ``Star Room'' on the third floor, I felt a little disappointed, because there was no furniture inside. Although the shoji and sliding doors were neatly pasted in a dreary Japanese-style room with no traditional taste, it gave a sense of the old days seen in period dramas. It was as if I had slipped into the old days and become a traveling peddler. It was as if they were staying overnight to protect themselves from the night dew. However, it didn't take long for their state of mind to change after soaking in the hot water. Now, I immediately head to the bathhouse in the basement. The feeling of soaking in a stone bath covered with hot water flowers and allowing your mind to be freed by the flow of time as you surrender to the waves is truly the ultimate experience. It's great even for young children who don't understand the benefits of hot springs. It starts to feel like a hot spring bath. It's a world far removed from the current dimension where time is ticking away, where all my fleeting thoughts are buried in the distance of oblivion. What's special about this place is that it has the title of ``bathwater source,'' and there is a hot spring nearby. faintly conveys the sounds of the earth in its sleep. \Shu-duh-ba-gobbo-gobbo/ I go back up the candy-colored stairs that have been built up over a long period of time. It's so strange. Three quarters of a century (sanshihan-seiki) I have become a person who has become accustomed to the room I had lived in before. I don't know why. I thought, as I did after taking a bath at this inn, I sat down on the rim of a glass and poured out all the dreams I had lost. What do you think? It's a special time, different from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The morning of departure dawned. The pre-trip meal was delicious. The freshness of the ingredients was attested to by the location of the inn, both on the sea and in the mountains. Nita rice, the origin of Japanese cuisine, is of a far superior quality. This rice, which is harvested in nearby Okuizumo, is comparable to the Koshihikari produced in Uonuma, located in the southern part of Niigata Prefecture. If it is Yokozuna in the east, it is praised as Nita rice in the west. The moment I boarded the microbus with the proprietor's passionate gaze on my back, I felt like a traveler again. The moiré pattern swimming on the surface of the Tamayu River sparkled beautifully in the morning sun. I felt sophisticated, but maybe I was just a small child. .I'm now a gaunt old man with a broken wing, but I still miss those days.
