In November 2023, I stayed at Izumo Taisha Shrine in a Japanese-style room with an open-air cypress bath on the 1st floor during the Kanzai Festival. The room was very spacious and clean. The food was also delicious. I wish the miso soup with clams had a little more aroma...The cypress open-air bath was also very relaxing. The open-air bath didn't have a roof, so we couldn't go in when it started raining heavily. The public bath was very spacious and I enjoyed the open-air bath while looking at the moon. I feel that the lighting intensity in the public bath is a little high.I participated in a sake bar, tea ceremony experience, Yamata no Orochi legendary kagura, and morning gymnastics. The kagura performed by the staff was absolutely wonderful. Sake BAR, 1000 yen for 3 types and snacks? There were a lot of local sakes from Shimane, and I had a lot of fun while learning about them. The Japanese sweets I received during the tea ceremony experience were so delicious that I bought some from a Japanese sweets shop on my way home. All the staff were very kind. Thank you for the wonderful time!

It was very soothing. The interior was calm and beautiful, with an elaborate design based on the concept of sake brewing. The Shigaraki porcelain bath in the room was well thought out with regard to both hot and cold water, making it very relaxing. It was raining the next morning, and I was listening to the sound of the rain. The room bath was amazing!! ️There are three different flavors of ice cream after the bath, and I enjoyed all of them (o^^o) The photo is of a matcha tea ceremony, and I enjoyed both the sweets and the tea very deliciously.

Two adults stayed here for two nights on a trip to Izumo. The room was sophisticated and had an indoor bath, but it was a little inconvenient as it was separated from the washroom, so I mainly used the public bath. It was nice that no matter what time I went there, there weren't many people and it was calm. There is a Dyson hair dryer in the large bath on the women's side.Above all, this inn has a wide selection of Japanese sake, making it a recommended inn for those who like alcohol. You can enjoy comparing sake in your room 🍶When pairing, you can enjoy Ochoco's commitment. The photos are of breakfast and late night snack on the second night.Breakfast on the second night was particularly simple... Is it for one night? I would be happy if you could become richer!----postscript----Reason for ★★★I had made an online reservation a month in advance - I had phoned a few days prior to confirm and told them that I would be staying for 2 nights and that I would like to have a late night meal, but when it came time to check in. The guide told me I was staying for one night (and when I told her I was staying for two nights, she reacted with an ignorant response of "huh?". She seemed unaware of the dinner time and asked me again. In fact, it's a limited-time hotel with some slots booked up). I wonder if there is a lack of coordination among the staff (proposed on time).I was so excited, but at the very beginning, I suddenly became anxious. But in the end, I had so much fun that I overcame that feeling of anxiety, so I'd like to go again!

I visited to commemorate our silver wedding anniversary. Hospitality, food, and room were good. I even had a commemorative photo taken, which made it a memorable experience.
