Perfect stay in super cute town. We had a double size tatami room with gorgeous authentic screens. Shared bathrooms were super clean. Our hostess was so friendly and let us check in early. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and we experienced some Japanese musical culture which was so kind. Right opposite the train station. A real highlight.

Having been to Japan so many times, Tsuwano Town is definitely one of my top three favorite areas in Japan. It makes me miss this place so much. A big part of it is the Star Hotel located at the corner of Tsuwano Station many years ago. The first time I chose accommodation in the Tsuwano area, I chose Hoshi Ryokan. It was also the first time in my life that I stayed in a Japanese-style B&B. The price of one night with two meals included was so cost-effective that I thought it was amazing. What was even more memorable was the proprietress’s Kind and friendly (and can speak a little English), and there is no problem in communication. I have been to Tsuwano three times and stayed here twice (the other time I did not stay in Tsuwano), and I came here specially when I came out of the station. We were picked up at the station and we were really considerate. Another time, we even asked the landlady to help us buy souvenirs. I really appreciate her help and meticulous service. If you have the opportunity to come to Tsuwano, please don’t miss this hotel with excellent reviews. Stay! ! !

Hey, if you're ever in Tsuwano, I totally recommend checking out the Hoshi Ryokan. The staff there are super friendly and really go out of their way to take care of you. And the food? Yum! Seriously delicious. Plus, the whole place is just super clean and tidy. So yeah, if you're looking for a great place to stay, give Hoshi Ryokan a shot.

Above all, the hostess's customer service comes first. Country cuisine is good for the body. It's within reach from the station. A souvenir shop is also nearby. There are also bicycle rentals.
