It's a proper Eco lodge with the best people ever taking care of you !I stayed here for a yoga retreat and I left a piece of my heart back ! It's turly a magical place to relax at. There are a few nice restaurants and beach spots near by and the entire alaya village is so warm hearted and welcoming. The simple food at Dune Alaya and the pretty garden around the pool for afternoon siesta is definitely worth it.With mountains on one side where you can go on small treks and the beaches right opposite to that is surely a rare combo

A beautiful oase in Permuteran. The cottage is very cute with a beautiful bathroom (included a bath) and has everything you need. We loved the quality of the wood everything was made of and also the little details in it. The quietness in the morning was amazing so taking a morning swim is a must :)

When you enter Alaya Ecolodge over a small bridge, you see a serene paradise, with wooden lodges tucked away around an inviting swimming pool. Beautiful trees and flowering plants surround it with an atmosphere of belonging and peace. And high above you're greeted by the ancient spiritual mountain looking down on you..The amazing big hall with attached kitchen, offers your meals, activities and corners to hang out with family, friends or make new ones.You always feel welcome to participate in activities/workshops or share your own unique skills collectively or just observe.. a place of sharing, learning and connecting.You never feel alone, yet you can always withdraw to your "home" to reenergize, or go swim, shop, bathe in the ocean, eat out or discover Pemuturan and it's surrounding..It's a place where your soul expands, unforgettable experiences gained (inner and outer) and friends made for life.And all along you get silently nourished by nature's healing and soothing energies.. you leave with a full heart ❤️

This is a truly wonderful, green , comfortable place to stay at. I stayed here for 5 days with friends and loved the fresh, big portions of delicious meals available. Michael, the wonderful resort director even organised vegan meals for our group on request. He and his wife are wonderful hosts and we felt like we were at home in our charming little cottages. Amidst the green lawns and pool , I felt like I was at home rather than at a hotel. I loved this the most. The staff here, especially Masiti, are very sweet, friendly and courteous.A very rejuvenating place for the mind and body. Michael offered us yoga classes,massages and more on request. We even learned MMA here one day with a lovely champion. The offerings right here at the resort like acupuncture and yoga are very calming . All these were taught by our host who is well-versed in all these fields! A truly unique place.I loved that they segregate and compost waste here and all the people who work here carry a lovely spirit.Thank you.

I was really greatfull to stay at Alaya Ecolodge It is a little paradise eco friendly with a sense of community and high spirit!!The staff is so gentle smily and ready to help you for anything.The owners of the place are a young enegetic couple giving so much care and attention to the guestsA place in between the mountains and the seaquiet and in a beautiful nature!Not to miss if you are in north Bali!!

Two of us arrived, expecting to spend three relaxing days in the north of Bali. Big mistake, we ended up staying there for a week after having canceled the rest of the trip, because the kindness of the people and the energy of the place won us over.Be sure to put your things down and feel good. Take the time to speak with Michael (the owner) and his friends, the local staff (always attentive) and you will realize that good people exist.I hope you have the chance to stop at this place at least once in your life and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you good luck for the day you have to go there…I’LL BE BACK

Alaya is more than just a place to stay, it is a community of genuine down to earth people located in my favorite part of Bali. The resort itself offers so much with workshops in a wide range of disciplines like massage, MMA, and yoga while Pemuteran has even more great experiences like snorkeling at Menjengan island, trekking to waterfalls, chilling at the beach and more. By far the best stay I’ve had in Bali, beat the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of Bali and stay here

I just returned from Bali, and my experience at this place was absolutely amazing. I went to this place with my family and the atmosphere is really refreshing and it really feels like i'm living in the rural areas of Bali, the place is so clean, the owner and everyone living there are so friendly. My only regret is that i couldn't extend my stay and spend more time with the people because my family and i wanted to explore Bali. But nevertheless, my experience here is really great and unforgetable and next time whenever my family and i have some free time and take a vacation again to Bali, we will book here again

Amazing place ! Our best experience in Bali After 2 months travelling on the islande !!!! This place is exceptionnal, thé wood cottage are Amazing and so confortable, the bathroom is just wahouuuuuuu and the swimming pool is perfect for family or to relax with Amazing view on the mountains ! The owner, Mickael and Kavity are Amazing, so nice, so welcoming ! They show our family the best of balinese culture and tradition and bring us around for diner and snorkeling ! I just want to live here now ! It was the best of the best ! And so cheap for all you get with the room (Amazing view, great facilities, tasty and Big breakfast and lunch...)

This place is simply fantastic. From the very first minute I felt more welcome than at any other place on my trip. The whole place is very lovingly and attentively designed. The bugalows are a dream with lots of lovely little details and you are surrounded by beautiful mountains. The team is simply incredible, super friendly and courteous and you are served a delicious breakfast every morning. I can only recommend this place to everyone, whether traveling alone, as a family or as a couple, everyone will find their place here :)

We drove to Dune Alaya based on the recommendation of a friend, and it was worth the trip. The journey there was incredibly beautiful, and upon arriving in Dune Alaya,which was tucked away from the main road, offering peaceful and pleasant nature to soak in from the moment we entered. All the houses are recycled old wooden houses from Java, giving it an old-world charm. We had all the modern amenities, and the hosts and staff were super friendly. There was also a nice swimming pool, making it feel like living a dream life. The food was incredibly well done with attention to detail, offering both Bali and international cuisines. One of the beautiful things is that you don’t have to have any plans to relax because the moment you enter that place, tranquility becomes a part of you. I suggest that everybody should visit and spend a few days, few nights, or even a few months there. All the best.

I was so happy to find such an amazing place to stay in North Bali... Paradise in controlled jungle...Quiet and peaceful... Beautiful walks directly from the hotel...Very friendly hosts...Beautiful swimming pool...Fantastic food... And incredibly reasonably priced!!. I m coming back for sure..

Exceptional stay! There were three of us, friends, and we were surprised by the welcome from Michael and this sublime place. We discovered a really peaceful place, very beautiful, the exterior was super well maintained. When we arrived we were offered a short walk in the mountains surrounding the property, it was magnificent, we also had dinner at the restaurant with the owners and other guests of the property, it was great. The accommodation was great, very clean we all 3 slept in the same room and the bathroom was separate and it was an outside bathroom, it was incredible!Breakfast was included and we were treated to coffee or tea with a plate of fruit and the choice between eggs on toast or banana pancakes, it was super good and the service was just perfect! The rooms are cleaned and the beds made up every morning, the place is located at the end of a path in the center of premunteran but only 15-20 minutes walk from the beach. The owners are very accommodating and can put us in touch with drivers, we rented scooters by asking them and it was just perfect. We really wanted to extend our stay because it was great we had a great time and the north of Bali is less touristy we loved it, I'm sure I'll come back ☺️
