If you do not request transportation, you will only need to rent a car or use the Goka Line bus. There are only mountains around, so make sure you plan accordingly.I took the bus from Saigo Port at 8:33 in the morning, and was swimming in the sea until I checked in.

The room was pure Japanese style, but it was clean and well-maintained. The heated toilet seat in the UB has been renovated and is new, but due to interference with the UB, the toilet seat lid hits and closes on its own. There is a refrigerator, but it's old and makes strange noises. I called the front desk to check on it, but they asked me to check on it, so I ended up unplugging it.Unfortunately, the filling is poor in many ways.The public bath is not that big, but is it okay if it's not a busy season?I had high expectations for the food as it had good reviews, but it was average.

You can only eat at the hotel restaurant. The lunch set meal is voluminous, and it is a great place to eat on a rare remote island. I've visited Dogo twice, once by car and by bike, and I've stopped here both times. You can buy Oki souvenirs at the attached shop.November 9, 2023 Postscript: I visited again on Sunday, November 5th. This is my third time to Dogo, and I've had lunch here both times. The male staff in charge is very nice. The 1,200 yen Bi-Fly set meal will be a memorable experience as you can enjoy Oki's famous Bai shellfish.

I stayed for two nights to climb the highest peak on Oki Island (about 600m), and the front desk staff was kind enough to give me advice on road conditions on the island and mountain climbing.

It's quiet and very comfortable. The staff's attentive service also has a warmth you don't find in the city.There's so much food that I can't finish it all, but it's all incredibly delicious.

This is also a lodging facility (log house) where I would like to stay.3 night experience. Satisfaction far beyond imagination.It is definitely a waste for 2 people to use it.We bought Daiginjo local sake and vegetables at a large supermarket and made full use of the kitchen.The indoor bath is also perfect. Warm or warm.Using this as a base, I visited Nishinoshima and other islands and enjoyed Oki Island to the fullest.(It's an amazing experience to live in a high-rise residential complex in the city! Moreover, it's a detached house!!)Even when I return to Tokyo, the sky full of stars and a chorus of insects seem to be nearby.My daughter will have fond memories of visiting cottages in Scotland even after she returns to the UK. ...

This hotel faces the cove where fishing boats are moored. The waves are small and you can hear the chirps of warblers everywhere. The exterior and rooms look like they have been renovated and are clean. The room is twin with a loft. It felt like it was aimed at young families. Parking was free. There are very few restaurants nearby, so we recommend that you come with a meal. Advance reservations are required for both breakfast and dinner. You can eat at a relatively reasonable price. The manager is friendly and will teach you various things.

I decided to use it because it was the closest to the departure and arrival terminal of Candle Island.There is also a shuttle service to Port Plaza.There are some sightseeing spots near the hotel, such as waterfalls and Fukuura Tunnel, so I think it was a good idea.There were also two goats, which was very relaxing (lol)

I was given a shuttle service from Saigo Port to visit. The special feature is that it is close to the Candle Island sightseeing boat terminal, and the inn's car will pick you up, but it takes about 2 minutes. Dinner was so delicious that I couldn't finish it. I was able to spend a relaxing time.

The employees are very kind ^_^It was very relaxing.The sea is right in front of the hotel! (Not a sandy beach)There was also a waterfall nearby.The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport and Saigo Port.Although hours are limited, a shuttle service to Saigo Port is available if reserved in advance.There are also buses, although they are less frequent.I think the hotel rooms are average.However, there is no bath in the room.You will be able to use the large public bath.The toilet has a washlet ^_^The public bath is not very large, butI think it is sufficient considering the number of people who can stay.The bathtub is shallow, and for adults it should be around your chest while sitting.I didn't have any problems because I was soaked up to my shoulders when I slept.There seemed to be only stairs to the second floor.The food is delicious with seafood.(The meat was also delicious)The portion was so large that I couldn't finish it.I refrained from eating rice (kamameshi) because I couldn't finish it all, but they made me rice balls for dinner in my room.They were very kind to me.I would like to go there next summer!

I used the business plan which includes breakfast and dinner for 8,800 yen including tax.The food was perfect! Free refills of large servings of rice.Dinner beer and glasses were excellent and delicious.It came with turban shells.The vending machines were closed due to the coronavirus, but I think it's okay to restart them now.When I flush the toilet, the neighbors can probably hear it, but it doesn't bother me.The public bath was empty and reserved for private use!It's smaller than you might imagine, but it's sufficient.It's probably spacious enough for 5-8 people.There was a waterfall behind the hotel and a goat.The parking lot is also spacious.I think that access to the sea is perfect in the summer.it's recommended.

I went to eat launch the other day.The view from the hotel was spectacular, and I had a wonderful time with my friends who loved the fried rock oyster set meal. The service dumplings were also a treat.

It is located near Candle Island, a tourist destination in the inner part of Dogo.As someone who doesn't drive, I have no choice but to stay here after sightseeing, other than arranging a taxi.In addition to transporting us to the Candle Island excursion, we were also thankfully provided with a transport to Saigo Port.There is a wide variety of dishes, and the iron plate seems like it will run out of heat if you don't keep grilling it.There are various kinds of sake, but especially Japanese sake is available from Oki Sake Brewery.As a typhoon was approaching, we decided to shorten our itinerary.Fukuura tunnel, which I was planning to go see the next morning.I was disappointed that I couldn't go to Mizuwakasu Shrine, which I had planned to visit.I would definitely like to visit again.
