Good old building! I was shown a room on the second floor facing the street. They have resumed business after the coronavirus outbreak, but they are currently only accepting one group per day.There's a Chinese restaurant called Sachi that's a 2-minute walk away, and it seems like it's newly opened, and it's very stylish and delicious. I had a good dinner and drinks.This time I came by car, but I got up early the next morning and took the first train of the Ichibata train to visit Izumo Taisha Shrine. It was still 8:30 when I got back.

The building itself is a true Japanese inn that retains the atmosphere of the past, giving you a somewhat nostalgic feeling. Also, the cleaning is thorough and clean.However, the key to your overall lodging experience is whether or not you are compatible with the hostess. As long as you listen to what she says and don't argue, there won't be a problem, but if you argue or can't keep up with her pace, it will become a problem. It is especially troublesome when you bend your belly button because you lose control of your mouth. In that case, I was prepared to be uncomfortable.In any case, it is not recommended for travelers who like to go at their own pace. I plan to stay at a different inn on my next visit to Izumo City.

People who like this place will like it, and people who don't will not like it at all.Everyone has commented・What the landlady says is absolutely true.・If you are not feeling well, you will be refused entry.・Do not make noise (especially couples)・Overall oldIf you have doubts after seeing these, I think it is better to stop.However, if you find the right horse, the hostess's good spirit and friendly customer service will make you feel at ease, just like at home.Also, the Mochida soy sauce grilled rice balls made by my relatives on Momenkaido are the best.It's so delicious that I can drink soy sauce.

This is an inn in the early Showa era.I think it's good for those who value the atmosphere of Izumoji.On the other hand, the room was divided by a thin wall and a single sliding door, so voices could be heard clearly.I don't think it would be possible to have a party in the room.Whether you see it as an advantage or a disadvantage is up to the person.The price is low, so that's a big advantage.It's fine if it has a nice atmosphere, but how about staying for business?You will need to prepare towels, nightwear, etc.There is a convenience store (LAWSON) next to Hirata Station, a 5-6 minute walk.

Super! I really enjoyed chatting with the owner, such a unique and strong japanese woman. She even recommended us a traditional shoyu shop where we had an unforgettable breakfast. Definitely recommended

The landlady is strict (lol)Smoking is prohibited throughout the building. Smoking is said to be a death penalty (lol)No Wi-Fi! If you make a noise in your room, you will be forced to leave, so be careful! ️The price is 3,800 yen including the hot spring discount ticket.
