A small campsite using the riverbed. The administration building is located in a sports park on a hill. The scenery is not particularly good, with the seawall being constructed, the sound of the national highway and railway, and the steel tower in front of it. If you want to enjoy nature to the fullest, you may feel unsatisfied. However, it is easily accessible from the national highway, has toilets and a gazebo, is carefully mowed, and has a home improvement store and supermarket nearby, so it is a campsite that locals can easily go to.Personally, I like the fact that you can go there easily.postscriptThe nearby supermarket closed in September 2020. However, there is a convenience store and drug store within a 5-minute drive, so I don't think you need to worry about anything if you only need the bare minimum.

Today is my stay in April 😁 During my Cub trip, I hurriedly contacted them by phone, and a male staff member kindly responded by telling me that there was someone who was going home for a day camp, so I could stay over after 4:30 pm 👍The camping site is a little far from the reception building, return to the national highway, turn left at the foot of the bridge, and go down to the riverbed below where 19➕ABC places⁉️ are lined up and the ground is a little uneven😁The price was 200 yen for a tent and 100 yen for a motorcycle (cub). The kitchen building is one level above the restrooms 🚻 are Japanese-style flush toilets 😅 There is a place to dispose of ashes ⁉️I was able to spend a comfortable time without worrying about the voices around me due to the sound of the river 👍Please be sure to take your garbage home with you. Open fires are prohibited. Use a fireproof mat and use a bonfire stand.🚻Two Western-style toilets and a shower 🚿If there were facilities, I would give it 5 stars🌟😁

A campsite located on the riverbed of the Chiyo River with various exercise facilities. Check-in will be done at the management office located halfway up the sports park. Prices are set in detail, such as 200 yen for a tent and 200 yen for a car, but even if you put it all together, it won't cost 1000 yen for a solo trip, so I think it's on the cheaper side for a paid campsite. There are 20 lots on the site, but depending on the season, it can be crowded with events such as picnics, BBQs, and canoeing classes, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation if possible. As for the main campsite, it is opposite the Chiyo River, National Route 53, and behind it is a power plant, so it cannot be called a quiet campsite. There is almost no shade, so tarps and canopies are a must in summer. However, since it is easily accessible and there are many people and cars, the risk of crime seems to be low. Since it's a deserted area, there seems to be almost no damage from animals, so it's perfect for those who are afraid of going solo for the first time or for beginners. Another thing to keep in mind is that it is on a riverbed, so it will be closed during heavy rain. A few years ago, the campsite was swallowed up by the Chiyo River and closed for several months. It is best to check with the management office before using.

Due to bad weather during the motorcycle trip,I saw on the internet that the arbor was available.I made a reservation over the phone on the same day and stayed for 2 nights. The arbor can be used by only one group, and you can park your motorcycle or bicycle under the roof due to the space available. Please be safe as the path is sloped and narrow.A solo tent and a super cubIt fit perfectly and it wasn't raining too hard so I didn't get wet.Even if it rains, it's stress-free to have space other than the tent. The gazebo had yellow lighting that gave it a nice atmosphere. The environment is along the river and you can see the mountains in the distance, making it calm. You can often hear the traffic sounds of cars and trains. The covered kitchen has 5 faucets. The men's toilet was Japanese style. To register upon arrival, please go to the administration building a little further away by 5:00 pm.300 yen per night for use in October 2022.The shower is also in the administration building and there is a manager.Available from 9am to 4pm.Shower facilities in the locker room for 100 yenI was allowed to use the rinse-in shampoo and body soap without any time limit. The nearby supermarket is about 10 minutes away by bike, and the large supermarket is about 30 minutes away.It wasn't an inconvenience.

As others have said, the location is not great, but the access is reasonable and the price is reasonable (500 yen for solo camping). There are toilets and water facilities, and there is a super convenience store and home center within 5 minutes by car. There is some peace of mind even if something is missing. I think it's a place I can recommend even for beginners.
