The building is old, but the inn is connected to the Takiji Kobayashi family, so you can feel the atmosphere of those days.

Basically, it was old in many places, but there were new parts here and there, and there wasn't anything that looked old or boring. The rooms and hallways are a little squeaky in some places. The hot springs are alkaline and will leave your skin smooth and beautiful. Be careful of the bathroom floor. For some reason, the shower was so strong that I was surprised! Maybe it could be a little weaker (lol)There are various things in the changing area, so even if you come empty-handed, you'll probably be fine. There was also Wi-Fi. There was an ssid and password in the room. There was a space where I could work, so I thought it could be used for things like workcations or company training camps. There is an activity spot called Tree Cross Adventure nearby. I've only seen a glimpse of it, but I don't think it's possible unless you're an elementary school student...It seems like a good plan to work up a sweat there, take a leisurely soak in a hot spring, eat delicious seasonal food, and get a good night's sleep. It also seems to be the entrance to a hiking course. It might be a good idea to use this inn as a vacation spot. There are no shops inside the building. There are some things you can buy at the front desk, but that's about it.There are vending machines, but the lineup is somewhat modest. There is a vending machine within a 30 second walk outside, and there are a few more varieties. You can also order drinks, but there aren't that many varieties. It's a bit of a walk, but there's Koganei Sake Brewery and Marche, so it might be a good idea to buy sake, snacks, drinks, sweets, etc. there before coming.I was a little concerned that the water from the faucet in the room was slow and that it wasn't drinkable. They gave me bottled water, but I thought it would be nice if there was a system where I could drink it freely. It might be placed somewhere together, or it might be a water server.Come to think of it, I heard that it was also used as a filming location for Aibo, but I wonder where that was...?There were a few autographed colored papers here and there, so there might be a few people visiting here and there.

Day trip plan: Check in at 11am, check out at 4pm, 6 tatami Japanese style room with toilet and lunch included. At check-in, we were introduced to the fact that we could use the private family bath between 2:00 and 3:00 when the men's and women's public baths were switched, and we were able to use it additionally. The exterior is quite old, and the large interior has some rooms and facilities that are not used, so it feels like it is not used during the day. The room I was shown to was a renovated version of the Showa era room. However, the lunch I had in my room was very delicious, and although I didn't take a bath in the open-air bath (at first there was only a large public bath for men, there was an open-air bath for women, which was later replaced), I thought it was a very nice hot spring.

This is the first time I have felt such a bad feeling.I went there with my two daughters for a day trip to the hot springs, but the landlady? The old lady seemed busy and said, ``Um...I think I'll probably let you in, but please wait for a moment!'' She entered the front desk, guided the two women who were waiting there, and then... It doesn't come out. I was left standing in the doorway for about 10 minutes, and I got angry so I left.My younger daughter, who was looking forward to soaking in the hot springs after having fun at the Tree Cross Adventure, ended up crying and all the fun she had during the day was ruined. I still can't control my feelings. It made me feel the worst.I don't think it's possible in the hospitality industry, much less in the hotel industry, to have people wait at the entrance with their shoes on without being allowed inside. If you can't get in, I'll understand if you explain that, but I wonder what happened to us who were asked to wait and couldn't even go inside! ?I can't help but think that they are sitting cross-legged in the fact that it is a long-established inn. This is a terrible inn that I will never go to again and cannot recommend to anyone.I added one star because I can't write a review without giving it one star, but it should have been minus five stars.

I went to a hot spring on a day trip a while ago.I usually use a cane, so when I go to a store, etc., I always wipe the bottom of my cane with the towel I brought with me and ask if it's okay to go in. Listen. I suddenly wanted to take a day trip to a hot spring, but I forgot something to wipe myself with, so when I told the hostess about that, she said, ``Don't worry about that 😊 Your cane is your leg ☝️ You can leave it as is.'' !"and. I was almost in tears as I heard those words for the first time. The soft hot water and the landlady's kind words soothed my mind and body✨I would like to stay for one night next time.

I stayed at Jalan for one night because there was space available on the day I wanted. My purpose was to "take a hot spring", so I didn't play around with the others. The selling point is the strong alkaline beauty bath, which I took a dip in as soon as I arrived.I had a slimy feeling that I didn't really feel when I went to other alkaline springs in Kanagawa Prefecture, and when I washed my body with a nylon towel after returning home, I felt a stinging sensation, and my epidermis was peeling off and growing back. Probably. After all, I was able to use the public bath all night, so I went in and out many times, including dinner. There are 3 hot spring baths: a large bath, an indoor/outdoor bath, and a family bath.Men's and women's baths changed according to the hours, and the public bath was a men's bath during the night.Transportation is not very convenient. If you go by bus, the nearest bus stop is so frequent that it seems like it's there for check-in and check-out at this inn, and there's only one bus in the morning and one in the evening, so if you're only staying for one night, it will inevitably take a long time to stay. becomes shorter. The nearest bus stop is called Takahata Kannon, and the route goes around the inn, so you will pass the same bus stop twice. The second stop, Takahata Kannon, is in front of the entrance of the inn, so we recommend skipping it the first time. Also, because the Takahata Kannon bus stop is located off the main bus line and back again, both the outbound trip to Hirosakuji Onsen and the return trip to Atsugi Bus Center come from the same direction, so when you get on the bus on the way back, You need to be careful where you go.Otherwise, you will have to go to Kosakuji Onsen and then go to Atsugi via Takahata Kannon. It's far from the main road and quiet, so it's a good place to relax and write manuscripts.Because the building is old and has two floors, there is no elevator.I was scared of the stairs wearing a yukata that I'm not used to wearing (especially if you have bad feet?).One point that could be improved is that you can only borrow one key per room, so you can't move around separately.A meeting is required, so it would be nice if each person had one. This time, I was disappointed that my stay was short and I couldn't see the room where Takiji Kobayashi stayed. There was also a sauna, but I didn't go there either, so this is a foreshadowing for the next time I use it...I guess?
