I used it as a family with a 0 year old and 2 year old child. In the common space used as a living room, there were building blocks and a play set, and as soon as I found them, I started playing with them. Although it is an old folk house guesthouse, since it has only been open for a short time, all the furniture and fixtures are new, and the futons are of the 10cm mattress type. Personally, I was happy that the bed was made using a mattress pad, rather than the type where you wrap a large sheet around the futon like you would at a forest training camp. While I was sleeping, I realized that it was on top of my futon, so I thought it was hygienic and didn't require much effort. The murals are very nice, and you can add to them yourself, so it feels like you've shared memories with past guests. The toilets were clean, and none of the rooms had the musty odor typical of old folk houses, so I felt like I was experiencing only the best parts of old folk houses. There was a recommended restaurant nearby written in the in-house information book, and we visited the restaurant that had everything listed there, including the hot springs, dinner, and breakfast bread. Everything was good.I am also grateful that I was able to use PayPay for payment! My husband, who loves games, seems to like that there was a Pokemon Go spot nearby lol.You can do it forever just by being in the shared space...The reason I deducted one star from the guest room is because of my expectations for the future. From my perspective as a parent, there were only two things that I felt were unfortunate.I knew in advance that the stairs to the guest room would be steep, and that was one of the charms of old folk houses, but when you go with small children, you might end up walking up to the stairs if you don't lock the room. I was nervous that I was going to fall. There were also nice pictures drawn in the hallway, so I thought it would be a shame if the kids couldn't go there freely. How about installing a wooden baby guard on the second side of the stairs?Another thing is that if you have a wide carpet, joint mat, or tatami mat in the kids area in the living room, it will be helpful for people with babies so they can sleep on it.The shared space had hardwood floors, so this time I used the throw blankets I had left on top of each other to make a simple futon. (Of course, I also put my own towel blanket on top to keep my lap from getting dirty.)The common space is used as a cafe space during the day, so I think it's useful for having lunch with mom friends.I would like to use it again. I look forward to it and will do my best every day.
