A nice, no-nonsense place to stay in Yakushima. We especially appreciated the TV where we could spend our evenings indulging in Japanese programming! The hosts were kind and the location is very convenient, i.e. right next to the airport and a gear rental store. We had to drive out a bit further to get dinner, though!Booked through Airbnb at a good price.

Very cozy room with a small kitchenette, compact bathroom and a beautiful garden. The location was very convenient for us, halfway between Miyanoura and Anbo. There are good shopping opportunities within walking distance and numerous restaurants nearby. Taiichi was a very friendly host and very helpful and responsive when we needed anything. Due to a storm we couldn't leave the island and were spontaneously allowed to stay one night longer - thank you Taiichi for the relaxing stay on Yakushima!

It is a 15-minute drive from Miyanoura Port. It is located between Anbo Port and Miyanoura Port. It is convenient to go to either the east or west of Yakushima. There is a drug store 'Mori' at the entrance of the accommodation, so you can easily purchase the necessary items. There is also a store very close where you can rent equipment needed for trekking. You can see a large yard and even see the Milky Way in the evening. The host couple is very friendly. We will provide you with detailed information needed for your travel itinerary. The accommodation is clean and the trees smell nice. It’s a beautiful place.^^♡

Lovely, cozy little guesthouse with nice hosts and some gorgeous views. It's located about 20 minutes from Miyanoura by bus (500 yen one way) and up the hill from the airport. The guesthouse was a good size for 2, and has a small kitchen and bathroom. Also, there is a good store at the end of the road for some food and snacks.
