I go mountain climbing to Yakushima every year, and I always end up here.The meals are huge, and even though I'm a big eater, I always manage to finish everything. It's also nice to be able to talk about various things with the proprietress while you're eating!The room is not particularly large, but the balcony is large and you can dry your tent and wet things.They also provide nightwear, towels, toothbrushes, etc.I always use Onoma Onsen for bathing. There is a coin laundry between the pension and the hot spring, so I wash my clothes while I'm in the hot spring.

Thank you for taking care of me when I went to Yakushima for work.Both the husband and the landlady were good people and I'm glad I used them.And the food is very good.Dinner and breakfast were delicious with a wide variety of choices, and I looked forward to each meal.You are welcome to bring your own alcohol, and we are happy to serve ice and water.The Mitake water from Yakushima, mixed with ice made from that water, was extremely delicious.Bath, toilet and washroom are sharedThe price is also reasonableI think this is a good accommodation that I can recommend for both short and long stays.

I used it before climbing!You can see Mt. Motchomu and the scenery is great!We had a lot of food and good service ♫There is a hot spring nearby, so we recommend going there.There doesn't seem to be a place to eat nearby, so it's a good idea to have dinner and breakfast.

It's far away from the port and airport, so you can enjoy a quiet stay.The bus stop is right in front of you, so you don't have to worry about renting a car.A coin laundry is also located a 2-minute walk away.The host (wife) has a great personality and you can enjoy conversation.

The scenery here is one of the best in Yakushima, with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. There are many waterfalls nearby and the energy is high. The host is kind and the food is plentiful and delicious.There is also a delicious freshly baked bakery, a supermarket, and a cheap hot spring♨️ nearby, and you can also take a dip in the hot spring at the JR hotel. I had so much fun that I ended up staying an extra night. You won't get tired of it even for a long time.

The owner is so nice and kind, I really recommend this place. I know a luxury hotel is in front of this place and it is a bit different from expensive and luxury one but it must bring you an excellent stay!

This is a pension where you can relax.The hostess was kind and I enjoyed talking with her the whole time. The building is old but calm.For bathing, there is a nearby Onoma Onsen, which is recommended.Water, ice, coffee, tankan, and ponkan are provided for free.I asked for tankan as a souvenir and they sent it to me. It was a cheap and good item 😀

It was a bit of a hassle, as the toilet was shared between the two rooms, and the unit bath in the room was broken and couldn't be used, so there was only a communal bath on the first floor (^^;It's nice to be able to see Mt. Motchomu looking up from your room.It's inconvenient that there are no shops around (^^;If you walk a little, you will find A Coop.

[Location]Although it is far from the port and airport, there is a bus stop nearby.A coin laundry is conveniently located within walking distance.I was able to relax while looking at the sea and mountains.The starry sky at night was spectacular, and we could see the Milky Way with the naked eye.【bath】The bath in the inn is a bath in a normal house.Although I used the bath late in the day, the hot water in the bathtub was quite hot and relieved my fatigue.The nearby Onoma Onsen has excellent spring quality. The soft, simmering water soaks into your tired body from trekking.【meal】Dinner is home-cooked food using local ingredients.Every dish had a gentle flavor and was really delicious.It was a great memory to have a lively meal with other guests.【Bento】I asked for a lunch box for trekking.It was a hearty bento box with a large number of items and they took care to prevent the food from spoiling.【others】The owner and his wife were very kind and made me feel like I was at my parents' home in my hometown.The location is rich in nature, so those who are afraid of insects should be prepared.Also, the equipment is old, so sensitive people may be surprised.A local said, ``There are many accommodations in Yakushima, but if you want to stay in a pension, this is definitely the best!''It's such a wonderful inn.Next time I go to YakushimaI would like to take care of you again.thank you very much.

The owner doesn't talk much, but he is a serious, sincere, and calm person, and I was impressed by the way he worked hard to prepare a large variety of dishes from the morning.As I was casually looking at Mt. Motchomu from the window, a large rainbow appeared, and I was indescribably moved by the picturesque scenery and the mysterious feeling of being transported to another world.There are many flowers blooming in the garden, and when you step outside you can see the blue sea of Yakushima, and a short walk from the river, you can see Onoma Onsen, which is like a beauty serum.We recommend this convenient and value-for-money pension.

It was a relaxing pension!The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.Everyone is kind and welcoming.The room has a unit bath, and you can walk to Ooma Onsen.There is a delicious bakery next door and a coin laundry nearby.Convenient as A Co-op is just a short walk away.Water and ice are always available for use.It takes less than an hour from the airport by Yakushima Kotsu bus. There is a bus stop on the road up from the pension.You can see the greenery from the balcony, and the morning sun rises over the sea beyond. It was really beautiful!When the sun goes down and the lights from the nearby fire station go out, it's pitch black, so you can enjoy the starry sky from your room.Motchomu-dake is behind the pension.The pension is certainly a little old, butEven though I was tired from walking around, I was able to sleep soundly.I would definitely like to stay again.

I can't afford to pay 7800 yen though.This is a pension with a handmade feel. The owner was helpful. I arrived soaking wet, but I was given a bag and other items.I was just wearing pajamas for my loungewear lolWe also have tea and sweets.Well, it's just a rag! 4 stars because it's in the 4000 yen range

The people at the hostel were very kind. The room and garden are very beautiful, and the food is delicious and I am very satisfied. It was my first time traveling alone, but I had a great time with the kind people who talked to me about all sorts of things. thank you very much!

It's an older restaurant, but it's reasonably priced and serves breakfast and dinner! This time I stayed overnight for work, but I was able to get enough rest, and thanks to you, I was able to complete my work.I would like to ask you again. thank you very much.

Stayed here for 3 nights while hiking in Yakushima. Common areas well kept but attached toilets tiny and need a refresh. Food provided hearty and complimentary tea, coffee and snacks are available. Would still recommend.
