The building was new, clean, and comfortable. There were plenty of facilities such as a washing machine and tableware. I thought the location was very good, as there are hot springs nearby and a supermarket nearby if you have a car. The owner was kind and taught me a lot about sightseeing in Yakushima. The wooden cottage was lovely and we had a great time.

Really nice interior and friendly owner, they welcomed us with original drinks and even made us hot sandwiches for goodbye lunch!We can cook local veges and enjoy their books and CDs.It was a very nice cottage and the couple who owned it.There were many books and CDs in the collection, so I was able to enjoy some relaxing time in addition to playing in the mountains.I was able to buy local vegetables and fish and cook, and it was very comfortable to have food that was kind to my body.The original drinks were delicious, and the fact that they gave us hot sandwiches at the end was a really warm and delicious memory.Nya was also very friendly and seemed to reflect the openness of this place.

I rented a cottage mountain. On cloudless nights, you can look for shooting stars and satellites while looking at the starry sky from the chairs on the wooden deck. The owner's whim? The curry at the restaurant that opened was also excellent. This time, I witnessed turtles laying eggs. Next time, I would like to rent Rokkakudo again in August and witness the turtle hatching.

I'm happy to be able to eat authentic curry in Yakushima.The scent of turmeric rice goes well with the curry and is exquisite, and there are several types of curry to choose from, so I'm looking forward to the combinations.Please note that business days are not fixed, so we recommend checking or checking Facebook daily.

I visited again after my 2013 visit.This location is difficult to get to without a rental car.There is a massage shop and an Italian restaurant nearby, but all other facilities must be reached by car.The accommodation fee may seem a bit expensive, but I would like to say that it is one of the top ten accommodations in Yakushima.It's such a cozy and nice place.Kitchen, laundry, bathroom, bed, audio, etc. are all perfect.It is said that the number of ants has recently increased in Yakushima, causing unwanted ants to enter homes.Although I applied the medicine through a dealer, it does come in through drains and outlets, so if you're sensitive, please be careful.September to October is the spawning season for spiders, so the number of spiders increases rapidly in the surrounding area (this is an issue throughout Yakushima). Hotels are also recommended for those who are sensitive to this.I heard that you can request breakfast as an additional option, but my wife and I ate it.The owner and his wife are very friendly and can speak English and Japanese.Moya, where the couple stays, also has a cafe, so you can have one drink a day.There were a lot of books and music CDs in the cafe, so I had a great time without a TV during my stay.200% intention to visit again.
