I stay at inns that are designated as nationally registered tangible cultural properties throughout the country. This time, we are talking about a station-front inn that is rare even in Japan and is a nationally registered tangible cultural property. For some reason, I had mixed feelings about the fact that it was fortunately left undestructed because there was no development in the area in front of the station.[Residence] ◎ Encounter a somewhat nostalgic sceneIt was a station-front inn that stood quietly and quietly right in front of Kurohime Station. The exterior was a typical architectural style often seen in the Shinshu region, so I had high expectations. When I entered the building, I was surprised to see that it was built like a merchant's house and had a very spacious entrance. In the past, it may have been an inn that also served as a trading business.According to what I heard, in recent years they had been running a soba restaurant and a souvenir shop. There is also a large hall on the second floor, reminiscent of the bustling times of the past. The room we were shown to was an 8 tatami Japanese-style room that was well maintained. There was also a period hanging scroll in the room, giving it a sense of history. So, I suddenly transformed into a treasure appraiser group and appraised it. There were stains and damage, and due to the state of wear and tear, my appraised value was about 500 yen.In the summer, it gets cool in the evening, so we didn't previously have air conditioners, but last month we finally installed air conditioners in the window sills after customers told us that they couldn't handle the intense heat of recent years with just a fan. It had been.Although it was still very hot, we were able to spend a comfortable time thanks to you.[Hot water] ○ Relax and enjoy a long bathUnfortunately it wasn't a hot spring. The hot water in the large bathtub was a little lukewarm, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing long bath by myself.[Food] ○ Enjoy the difficult task of finding a restaurantDinner and breakfast are currently not provided, so this is a stay-only inn. There are no restaurants or pubs nearby, so I thought I'd buy some at a convenience store, but unfortunately it was raining so I canceled even that.Fortunately, there was a tourist information center at Kurohime Station, and they were kind enough to give me advice. At the tourist information center, I was given two coupons for 700 yen off the taxi fare, but I decided not to use them as the bus was cheaper. The soba restaurant nearby was open until 2pm, so I had no choice but to give up on that as well. The only option left was the standing soba restaurant inside the station, so I had an early dinner in time for the order stop at 3:20pm.It was so cheap and delicious that we had breakfast here the next day as well. The fact that it is open from 9:30 a.m. is very convenient in front of the station, where there are no convenience stores nearby.I wrote a stray haiku poem named after Issa Kobayashi, a famous haiku poet who grew up in this area."Skinny frog, don't lose to Issa, Fujinoya."
