My husband and I visited with our two pets in between sightseeing at Funaya in Amanohashidate and Ine.I had expected it to be deep in the mountains, but I was worried that I might have taken the wrong turn on the way there, but as I continued deeper and deeper, I saw a signboard at a fork in the road, so my worries were allayed. As you go further, you will see a large three-story log house that the owner built by hand, except for the foundation.There is nothing nearby, so it was perfect for a couple and their pets to spend a quiet and relaxing time together.There is no TV in the room you were shown to, and there is not much space to relax, so those who want to spend a relaxing time in their room may be dissatisfied.I think it's perfect if you want to feel the texture of the wood on the terrace or in the living room, and relax and forget about time away from the hustle and bustle while enjoying the outside breeze.For dinner, I had a delicious and filling meal while enjoying conversation with the owner's family.After eating, I took a walk around the neighborhood for some exercise.There are no street lights, so you can see a sky full of stars.As it is a log house, there are no separate toilets or baths for each room. We had to go down the stairs to go to the bathroom, which was a bit of an inconvenience, but since we were the only ones staying in the room, it didn't bother us too much.From check-in to check-out, I was able to relax and refresh myself at my own pace without worrying about the time.
