Azegami exceeded our expectations in hospitality and cleanliness. We stayed for 5 nights and would easily have stayed longer. Location to the town is unbeatable and it’s a 10 minute walk up to the chairlift or Nozawa Onsen Holidays ski locker, much easier when we didn’t have to cart all our gear. Highlight was definitely the hot breakfast which was so tasty and generous we probably could’ve skipped lunch each day. Not once did we have the same breakfast during our stay. The blankets were exceptionally warm and each room has a kettle to make tea. Our room had a view of the mountain and close to the shared toilets. We used the public onsens but there is also a communal onsen downstairs with showerheads. While we were a bit unsure of how we’d go with this at first, we soon found we really enjoyed our bathing ritual. We loved our stay and nothing was too much trouble for the owners who even lent me a sewing kit to repair some clothes. To the owners, sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye, thank you so much for having us at Azegami, we look forward to staying again!

The inn is located close to Nitta Terminal (bus stop) and is very clean. There is a dining room on the first floor, and a common room with tables and chairs in the front. We stayed in a room on the second floor.Restrooms are shared, and each room has its own washroom. Both dinner and breakfast are very voluminous, delicious and filling!Although the bath is small, the quality of the hot water is like that of Nozawa Onsen, so I was very satisfied! Thank you for your help♪

Anyway, the food is great. Both the husband and the landlady are kind. The room is also relaxing.

Although it is a little far from the ski resort, it is close to the hot spring town and has a convenient location. The facilities and rooms are very clean and well-maintained, so you can have a comfortable stay. After all, the bath here is a hot spring, so you can bathe in the hot spring without going to the outside bath.
