I went camping in the summer with my kids. This campsite is recommended for families! There is a sandy beach area and a grass area, and the grass area is further divided into a zone without power and a zone with power. There are two rows of seats without power on the sea side, and behind them there are rows of seats with power. I get the impression that the site area is larger with power supply. It's a beach, so if you're camping in the middle of summer, wouldn't it be more popular to have a power source that can be used, such as a fan?Camping on a sandy beach is difficult to set up because just walking on the beach is tiring and regular pegs don't work. Cars are not allowed, so transporting luggage is difficult. It is more convenient to use section auto for lawn sites.○Good points•The lawn is well maintained and has a large area. I used a site with a lawn area and power supply, but it was about 130 square meters.•Free layout with no designated parking location.•The sea is right in front of you. Because there is a breakwater, you cannot see the sea from the site, but you can enjoy swimming in the sea just a short walk away.•There is a river zone where it is easier to play than the sea because it is near the mouth of the river where the river flows slowly. Even on days when the sea has high waves, you can play safely by the river. It has an interesting topography of sand → river → sand → sea.•Many kitchens.•You can throw away food waste, cans, plastic bottles, etc. for free if you separate them.•There are relatively few unpleasant insects even on midsummer nights.•Free cold showers and paid box-type hot water coin showers available. The free version is convenient as it is indoors and cannot be seen from outside.•Hot springs are less than 10 minutes away by car. After swimming, we took a quick free shower, changed our clothes, and headed to the hot springs.●Points of concern•The toilet is a pump type and has a simple flush. However, the site has been cleaned and does not look dirty or filthy, and even if the site is near the restroom, there is no odor. However, there is a bit of a smell inside the toilet, and some people who are used to the ultra-clean toilets at campgrounds these days may not like it. This is what campgrounds are supposed to be like, and I'm sure they keep it clean, but just to be sure. This campground is perfect for family summer camping. If you go to the roadside station Shokuno Miyako on your way back, you can enjoy petting animals, go-karts, grass slides, taste hunting, and more.
