Route Inn Kashima is difficult to get reservations for. This time I was lucky to get a reservation. My companion stayed in a comfort room on the 7th floor, which was a little wider than the standard room and had a bed with air revets. I stayed in a standard room, and it was about the same size as the new Route Inn where I usually stay, so I would say it was fair to bad. It was also helpful that the jinbei loungewear was available in a smaller size if I requested it. The good thing about the breakfast buffet is that compared to other route inns, the menu is quite different. Also, if you suddenly have to return to the hotel early from work, it's helpful that you can contact them and they will almost always take care of it for you.For dinner, there are Sukiya and Yayoiken within walking distance, and a 7-Eleven convenience store is convenient. However, although I miraculously managed to get a reservation this time, it is difficult to get a non-smoking room as most of the rooms are fully booked.

I usually use the comfort room on the top floor, but this time I couldn't get one, so I used a non-smoking room on the 5th floor, but I don't know if it's because there's a smoking area on the floor, but the air from the air conditioner smelled of cigarettes. Other than that, I had no problems and had a comfortable stay.As a side note, the slippers from Route In are very difficult to walk in, so I hope they change them soon.

Having a large public bath was a big plus, the staff at the front desk and breakfast venue were very helpful, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. But the important thing is, has the room been cleaned? It was a shame that the dust was accumulating at a level I expected. When I moved the bed a little, there was a white dust that had accumulated along the legs of the bed, there was also dust on the cups and tea pack trays used in the room, there was dust that had accumulated on the window frame when I quickly wiped it with a wet tissue, and there was sebum stains on the window glass. , the TV stand is also slightly dusty...I have stayed at various business hotels, but I have never stayed at one where the dust was so bad.I'm healthy so I didn't have any problems overnight, but it might not be suitable for people with asthma or allergies to house dust, or for children...If I use it again and it doesn't seem to change, I won't come back again...

(2024/6/18)I took a taxi from Kashima Station on a rainy day. The hotel is far from the station and there are few bus schedules. The handsome guy at the counter was very enthusiastic to help me. There is a large public bath and the breakfast is also very good. This is the home ground of the Kashima Antlers football team. Next to it, you can feel the atmosphere of the team's home field. Next time I hope to have enough time to come back to watch the Kashima Antlers home game and go to the Kashima Port Fishing Park.

It's comfortable. There is a large public bath. The parking lot is also spacious. There is a supermarket about 2 km away. There is a convenience store and eating out nearby. There is also a pub within the route inn. Route Inn is comfortable no matter when you stay. Thank you! is.
