It is better not to use it with the image of a hotel. It feels like a pension near a training camp...I think if you could make it a little more beautiful, you would feel more comfortable.I would like to at least have new sheets.Breakfast was delicious. It's cheap, so if you keep an eye on it, it might be worth it.

I'm not terribly picky with accommodation but for 15000 yen , you'd expect better. This place is more like a dorm than anything. As soon as you walked in, the whole space is a mess with toys and crap everywhere in the main area. The photos on Agoda and other sites look reasonably neat but when you arrive you'll be shocked. The hammock outside can't be used as its full of dirt. No one at the reception so have to ring. The foreign woman was not friendly and just rattled off instructions in Japanese like a machine gun even though she sees I have a foreign name and knows I am not Japanese. So I understood as you can use the hotsprings within 4-10pm as stated on the hotspring sign privately so we locked the door. Hotspring area is dirty, lots of mosquitoes and plants were unkept so you feel dirty. WORST thing is the water was COLD and smelly so its not like a hotspring at all. Also you have to remove the blue cover before you use it(Never have seen this before from hotspring) Imagine host was too lazy to clean the hotspring of leaves regularly so they ask guests to cover it up which is troublesome. It should not be our job.We were in there less than 20 minutes when she starts yelling to get out and we are not allowed to use at that time. That is fine but she didn't even give us a minute to shower off and clean up and cover up the hotspring and just kept banging on the door , yelling and trying to break in. I came out less than a minute after she started yelling but she still gave me a dirty look and scolded me.After that, we felt bad so didn't even come out of our room the whole night except to use the toilet. YES ,there are no private toilets . You have to go out of your room. The rooms are like hospital dorms and we felt like sick people, small TV, bed springs were weak, had leftover items from previous guest in the fridge and thin walls so you can hear next door.STAY HERE if you want to be disappointed and your weekend ruined.

I was told that it was a British-style hunting lodge, so I was planning to relax and enjoy the hot springs, but I was surprised and disappointed from the beginning. There is no greeting at the entrance where slippers and other items are scattered. The atrium lobby looked nice in the photo, but there are old, dirty stuffed animals and tattered books all over the place, making it look like a cluttered children's room. It's not a very relaxing atmosphere. The gap with web photos is terrible. (See attached photo)Since there aren't many guests staying in the bath, you can reserve it for yourself, but leave the cleaning hose connected. It's hard to find a place where you can use the shower curtain properly. When it rains, countless insects gather in the washing area, so people who hate insects should definitely avoid going there. The washlet in the women's restroom did not work.I gave it one star because it's within walking distance from the station, but it's about 1km away, so it might be difficult in bad weather or if you're an elderly person. The front desk is almost unmanned, so you can't call a taxi.Personally, I felt that for the same price, I would have been more relaxed at an old Japanese-style inn.

Stay Feb 20-22,2024It is a very popular place to stay. Located in a quiet area Easy to walk from the train station, almost 1 km. And it's very convenient to see cherry blossoms. The room is very clean. Use the shared bathroom As for the onsen, there are times when you can reserve it for private use.The host speaks English very well.

The room has a sink, heating and cooling air conditioning, a refrigerator and a wardrobe. You can also reserve private bathing time. I think it is very cost-effective to stay here during the cherry blossom season! By the way, there is unlimited free coffee, tea and snacks on the first floor😊

Come to Kawazu to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms. If you stay here for one night, you don’t have to rush back to Tokyo, but it’s still a long way from the hotel. …
