2023.12.Friday. Stayed overnight for the first time in a year. When I entered the entrance, I was greeted by an unknown lady. Surprisingly, the entire staff was replaced. I heard that the landlady's son and his wife inherited the business. Wow. A cloud of anxiety filled my heart, wondering if the usual food would be served. But it was DON’T WORRY. As always, it was a delicious dish served in a beautiful bowl. The couple used to run an inn in Atami. The inheritance of taste was also done well. The furniture in the room had also been completely updated. There was a tea/coffee bar available 24 hours a day in the hallway on the second floor. This is good! Until now, the WIFI in the room was weak, but a new WIFI was prepared for the second floor, separate from the one for the first floor. During the meal, my wife was the perfect customer service. I was able to enjoy delicious food while enjoying conversation. It was fun to have a conversation with the big landlady/young landlady before the shift, but the wife was also on point. This year, we used national travel support to visit large accommodation facilities in Nikko, Isawa, Toba, and Kinugawa, but the small, homely pension kappo is a place where you can spend a relaxing time with short travel distances. . I felt good again. Although it is run by a small number of people, the young proprietress brings out the food in a timely manner. There are 3 private family baths including an open-air bath. WIFI is difficult to connect in the room and there is no BS. Also, although the building itself is old, it is kept well-maintained. This means that the Kappo restaurant comes with a bedroom (as an added bonus). The cooking utensils and artwork inside the museum are also worth seeing. The room is well-cleaned and the futons are clean, but you can hear people talking in the next room, which is common in pensions. For dinner, the horse mackerel sashimi, abalone odoriyaki, and kinme stew were delicious, and it was the best thing you could have had for this price.

Rooms and services are standard. However, dinner was very good. Dinner increases the overall rating. However, your rating may change depending on which course you choose for dinner. I had a moderately priced course meal that included abalone and sushi.
