The closest place to Koya san without staying in Koya san. Short 10-15 min walk from the station. Owner is very nice and the house is a traditional Japanese house. The town itself has a very nice vibe, quiet and beautiful.

I used it for a solo overnight stay about six months ago.I wasn't informed that there would be a charge to use the parking lot, so I didn't feel good about it.If you think that there is no key in the room and it has a nice atmosphere, you might think so. Therefore, it may not be suitable for use by groups such as families.

Excellent place to stay near Koyasan, 40' from the train. Koyasan is usually very crowded and you have to book many months in advance.Very good attention from the owner and everything was super neat. I recommend it!

I checked in at night to experience the entrance to Koyasan Pilgrimage at Mt. Kudo, and I forgot to buy a lunch box on the train. There is a Family Mart nearby, but the host offered to have persimmon leaf sushi for breakfast instead of dinner, which was helpful. The room was in a separate area and I was able to relax. The bath was also very refreshing. The next morning, I went to the nearby Family Mart. Now, I went to 180 Machiishi.

The room is fine.I made a reservation for dinner and breakfast, and had dinner at an old folk house cafe a little far away, which was also good. For breakfast, I was given persimmon leaf sushi in the evening. That's what it felt like.Well, since this is my first pattern, I think this one is good too.

At night, I walked from the station, but the road was dark and I felt like I was getting lost. The surrounding area is very quiet. However, there is no convenience store nearby. This is an old-fashioned inn. The bath is also a small family bath.I stayed alone in a large room, so it felt luxurious.I only ordered breakfast, but it was persimmon leaf sushi.
